  1. The 80lb with ipilot is around a $1000 or atleast it was last year when I bought my boat the ipilot is awesome I have it on a 18'3" Lund and its lots of power only time i wish I had a 101is when its really windy like 30k+ and it still works just have to turn up the juice normally I run it on 2-3power and the batteries last forever

  2. Thanks guys Turkeys in the Oven my family comes over tonight and then it's off to the wifes Family in the morning the munchkins to open presents and for steak and egg brunch a mix of t-bones and the father-inlaws favorite cut of steak (he's a butcher) and some venison steaks I won't be able to move come boxing day but I have to get up to get my new LED TV on sale it will be worth all the effort cause then I have a week of doing nothing ,Well mabye some fishing :Gonefishing:

  3. I use Berkley Trilene in the gold box(can never remember the "name") I have it in 10lb for smallies and 6lb for float fishing no complaints but I ONLY use it for leaders not mainline it's way cheaper than some of the "leader material" branded fluoro a spool lasts me all season usually.

  4. Yeah I'm talking about North shore I live 2 mins from the river and it's still barely in it's banks and chocolate milk colored. I do know some smaller tribs that will be fishable, just gonna have to drive a hole 15-20 mins instead of 5 to get to the open section I only have a few hours sunday morning so we will see what happens.

  5. yeah thats a great rig I have been using it for a few years now but with a shakey head jig and with gulp, but have found the way of the slammer/swammer this year and love them just wish I could have connected with 1 that size rather than the uncountable 3-3.5lbers all summer :wallbash: but I guess that's not all that bad either LOL AWESOME fish man :thumbsup_anim:

  6. I use the trilene flouro in the gold box can't remember the name 10lb for bass leaders 6 for float fishing I catch tonnes of steelhead on the 6lb I pulled a 5-6lb steely out of a logjam on a Erie trib a couple weeks ago that would never have happened with mono I have landed fish with flouro that had little squigglies hanging off of it from rubbing on wood, rocks, docks and lots of other underwater nastiness only time I use mono is for backing, center pins and for crankbaits everything else is braid/flouro I use seagur 60lb for pike and it's like a anchor rope in strenth and the pike don't seem to mind it.

for me flourocarbon = NOT junk LOL

  7. carpet on the casting decks and vinyl on the floor(deck) and ya have the best of both worlds thats how my lund is and I love it my smokercraft was all carpet and it sucked to keep clean and stayed wet all the time .Starcrafts are great boats I sold a 1983 that ran like a top before I bought the lund.

  8. Hey Aaron I haven't watched the vid my laptops not liking the 1080P but when I dropshot I use a 7'MH fast action 20lb braid with a 10lb flouro leader and I don't pin them all but I don't miss a lot either and I set the hook like I'm flipping every time LOL in tourneys were smallies are boss we usually fish 1 with tubes and 1 dropshotting last year(2010) was tubes over drop shot and this year was dropshot taking more fish :dunno: I guess it's what ever your confident with and I'm not a fan of draggin tubes so I have got lots of confidence in my dropshot set up so it works good for me.

  9. A person that doesn't wear there seatbelt and ends up in the hospital for 6 months in a coma only the pass from their injures is the main reason that the goverment has seatbelt laws it decreases healthcare costs and saves lives I wear mine because my vehicles beep at me constantly till I put them on which has now just made it habit

  10. thats your initiation to addiction....good on ya for toughing it out....i would be lying if i said it never happened to me before...my funniest was when i slipped into one of the gourges at Ben Miller and my waders filled up with my feet hanging over the falls .....just before i went over a gentlemen slammed his salmon net over my head and saved me....then he said with his broken english " i dunt knew if i shud keeeep you.......or pooot you back" :jerry:
