  1. We’ll be out in the pack, drifting between Bait Island and EC10 of Long Point Bay.

First time in close to 20 years that I haven’t had my own boat; so I’ll be hitching a ride in my eldest brother’s.

So if anyone sees a white (trimmed in black) 28 foot Chaparral with the name Just Once “Again” that’ll be us.

His radio is usually scanning between channels 68 and 69; so give out a yell and say hello.

    Dan.

I will be out there early morning but once it get's busy I'm heading for bluffs looking for some big girls

  2. 3 days in a row on Longpoint Bay doing the opener derby then fishing the Edu-cast event on sunday taking a highschool kid out for smallies and monday I will be taking out a couple that their father bought for them from a charity auction for the St thomas all breed dog rescue hopefully a day or 2 next weekend to I can't wait I need some fish therapy !!!!

  3. I run WOT on erie rollers all the time and my lund is light in the bow TM/starting batteries are in the back You should definately be adjusting the trim once you get on plane . My father in-law was told not to mess with it "it's not needed" his boats a 18'6" bowrider and it always feels like your going to speer a wave because the bow is to low and it "Falls" off of the waves and is porpoising all the time ,scares the crap outta me. I have tried to explain the trim to him but he takes his buddies advice over mine and just leaves it trimmed down all the way and put a hydrofoil on it .

  4. Would it do the job if you had 7 days of no sun shine? Having severe apnea myself I would never take the chance.

Trickle chargers only need daylight not direct sun shine and I would think a 2'x2' charger would replenish what a (new small CPAP they are the size of a alarm clock now even my 2 year old model is massive in comparison )CPAP would use from a nights use by the time you were ready for bed the following night . I do think fish4eyes Honda genny is a good idea also they would use very little gas and are small enough to carry like a tackle box .

  5. I am just curious has anyone EVER been asked to show there card ? I get stopped on longpoint bay the OPP and CO's atleast 2-3 times a year (I think they like me LOL) but have never been asked for it I even asked them if they would like to see it and they said no .So who has had to show their Boater card.

The other thread got me thinking about this and I didn't want to hijack it

  6. Beautiful pup. I hope you have some water nearby for swimming.

We have a 2 year-old. Even though her mother was a golden, she looks more lab than anything else. I have to say she has been one of the most well-behaved dog I've ever known.

This lake is about a 10 min walk from my place

and it is being cleaned up they just added 3 airetors and we are cleaning out the mouth of the feeder creek to make a Turtle island for the turtles to lay eggs on and they wont get eatin by coons Rebel will love jumping off the new docks they will be building

  7. CPAP's don't use that much power I would say a good deep cycle and a 12v inverter would run 1 for a long time it would be better than relying on the out fitter and you could test run time at home before you go my apnea is positional so if I stay off my back it's not to bad but I wake up with head aches all the time without the CPAP.

  8. Nice lookin dog for sure.

    Do you hunt?

No I don't hunt but I do have a 3.5 Year old that talks about hunting all the time (his Papa hunts) so I may end up hunting soon enough LOL

I have a life preserver with the handle on the back already that will fit him in no time and I am going to get him one of these when he is full grown so he doesnt scratch up the boat he's named after

  9. So a fellow OFCer's dog had some puppies and I popped in for a unrelated visit and the little buggers were so cute and kept tuggin at the old heart strings so I talked the boss into it and picked up our new puppy Rebel (named after my Lund Rebel XL) yesterday he is the calmest puppy I have ever had and can't wait to get him out on the boat . Thanks Ryan for the new addition to our family

BTW he still has some more pups ready to go this weekend

  10. the head should be 3 pieces he has the center piece (the magnets) upside down tell him to mark the top as he has it now pull it apart and but the mark on the bottom when he re-assembles it simple mistake to make no need to take his tools and sterilize him :whistling:

  11. Hey Dan thanks for posting the perch derby I never even thought to put it up here . I will be camping again this year at deercreek for the Fish a Thon (no fires at our site this year) and have a few nice prizes from sponsors and the fishing community to bring some really nice shirts and hats courtesy of Columbia and lots of Trokar hooks to add to the prize packs I am really Looking forward to this years event
