No....that was shameful and under moderated.
I was just commending Frodo and Woodsman for keeping the disagreement polite and respectful so far.
My bad.
I was so wrapped up in the that Austin forum post, I made an assumption that you where talking about the same thing. Those boys are cut throat.
-
A polite exchange of words and ideas. Nothing wrong with that.
Great read!!!
Your a funny guy Merman.. I'm assuming you are talking about the post on the Austin forum. I read some of the replies in the later stages of the post. Polite
:rofl2: Ya.. Very polite in deed

I have been reading this forum for years
Then you should know what type of comments some people here consider offensive. Whether or not YOU think they are offensive.
back to the OP. Yikes.. 600 replies of guys flaming this kid. Mods on that forum really let things slide eh

Good chance it was the co-pilot's fault. Told him to be in 3rd gear instead of 2nd.
Maybe he had a small dog on his lap while driving?I didn't see a Pomeranian fly out the window during the tumble

I've been to a launch at south portage rd in the winter. Seemed like limited parking to me? The local guys might be able to confirm that.
I use the launch near Dorset off 35. It was great. Tons of parking. Google calls it Rabbit Bay.

Blaques guitar playing post got me thinking my harder side.
Love these guys..

I had to google it to tell the different. It's hard to tell for sure.
I deffinitally catch a lot of goby in Kemp when perch fishing. Getting worse and worse.

Watch to the end to see them get out and walk away..
A true testiment to the shear TOUGHNESS of a good roll cage.

That's some good stuff man!
For some reason the video wouldn't show up, just the audio. I had to change the quality to 480p to get it to show..

You're right it's a preprogrammed message that includes your waypoint.
Something as simple as "everything's fine, having a great time" or "send help asap we're in trouble!" would cover all the bases for me.
or AAAAHHHH Bill's going ballistic with the 30.06.. HHHEEEELLLPPPPP

From what I understand, the personal message feature is a set up from a computer before you leave home. It can not be changed once you are out. There are only a few buttons on the unit. No keyboard (on the ones I've seen) This was a few years ago, they may have changed things since.
Now if you could Text people using a Spot, that would be awesome..
-
I've had several discussions with the Spot guys and search and rescue seminars/trade shows.
The ones we where looking at (they where trying to sell us) could send pre set e-mails out to a list of people along with the GPS cords. So the people you have on your list can map out where you are.
They seem limited in what they can do. But the main good thing is the SOS button. If you need to be rescued, you just hit a button. That sends a signal to the Spot guys, who then determine the closest/best rescue team to call out, and do so immediately.

That's hillarious Randy!
Where's the guy with a shot gun? Pull
There's a ton of you tube videos of flying squerells.

Whether the lake is big or small, it' still breaking the OFC rules. It was specific details, about a specific spot on the lake. I actually fish this exact location several times a year.
A mod went in and removed the specific details on the location, which I appreciate very much.
-
Having a rough day? How about trying something like this:
Welcome to the board and thanks for your contribution. We look forward to seeing an introduction; tell us a bit about yourself and what you like to fish for.
Your right slowpoke..
BUT
I have a cottage on this lake, and it's tough enough fishing as it is. I don't appreciate people breaking the OFC rules and posting specific "hot" spots.

By the description, I would agree with a ridgeback. However, from the pictures, I really don't see the ridge. I've had lots of contact with ridgebacks, and the ridge is very distinct.

:wallbash:
Read the rules man..!
And maybe the "Intro" post as well..

I was hoping you would post some pics to get me gear up Sinker! What is that, a triple limit of ducks?
Here's one of a few double limits from the blind last year
-
If I don't get a letter in the mail soon, I'll call in and to find the results. Last year, it was a 75% chance to get a doe tag for bow season. Like Brian said, likely a little lower chance this year.
I hope to smoke a few yotes this winter too...
Also just found out that a friend is opening a butcher shop in Barrie. So I really hope to hammer some geese this fall, so I can get some summer sausage made up.

On a totally different note. Shot in the back of a van somewhere in Tennessee. I love the Raw stuff.

Last year I hunted out of a Momarsh & Stump Jumper Long Tail.. AWESOME RIG!!!..
But.. it's a very limiting boat as far as where you can go safely due to it's low sides.. This year were in an 18' Alaskan & Avery Quick set blind..
Man, your a serious duck hunter eh! That Momarch / Stump jumper rig looks deadly.
We hunted a permanent blind last year that hasn't been hunted from in about 15 years. We shot 60 ducks from it over the season between my partner and I.
Lets see some pics of the Alaskan with the quick set blind!
My goal this year is to find a cheap layout blind for field hunting. Or make one myself.
three days left til tough mudder

My bro in-law is running it.
He went up to Mount st louis last weekend to check out part of the coarse.
Good luck man! Looks like it's going to be a real test of....well... Everything![:w00t:](https://ontariofishingcommunity.com/uploads/emoticons/default_w00t.gif)
I'd be there in my lawn chair watching, but I've got to test my endurance at an open bar wedding.![:whistling:](https://ontariofishingcommunity.com/uploads/emoticons/default_whistling.gif)
