  1. No, read the reports or propaganda, as you choose. 5% to 8% reduction, mainly due to large office towers shutting down I didn't see that myself, could be photoshop. Maybe I should be suspicious.

I don't get why people are threatened by unoccupied office towers actually using less electricity? Or even reducing waste? Or folks

cleaning their garage? Or saving for their retirement? Why does this stuff pith you off?

No conspiracy theory would convince me that wasting stuff you need is a good thing.

  2. Don't mix ethanol with right minded ecological initiatives, such as reducing consumption. That is one of the biggest mistakes whats his name has ever made - forcing global markets to choose between food and fuel.

  3. The waders are gone, thanks to those who expressed interest.

This is the way this happened. I was talking to a board member who offered a spare set of waders. I thought that I should pay this forward, and offered my waders here. Dude that picked them up offered a tax receipt for MS.

I splained this to the younger daughter, and she said,"This is craaaaazy! When does the madness stop?"

    Pay it all forward, friends.

  4. These size 10s aren't wide enough for my foot. Or for my other foot, either.

Another board member will donate his extra pair of size 11 boot waders to me, because, well, they're extra. So this is what I gotta do. I need to give my too small waders away. They have never been wet, and always hung by the boots in storage.

Send me a pm, pick em up, and they're yours. Since they're free, they will go to the first at the door.

I hate giving things away for free, but I don't have any choice here. I also turned out my lights tonight, I feel so dirty.

  5. No, I have seen folks gently run their hand down the length of the fish, a motion some fisher women might be familiar with already. The fresh roe pops out the vent, what she was going to do anyway, and the hen swims away much relieved.

Not at all necessary to kill the hen while retaining some roe.
