  1. I have the clam nanook weighs 80 pounds and I put my auger and all my gear and minnows and pull it out on foot, it's not too bad.

  3. that's better then nothing feels good to get out there on the ice. theres some pretty crappy weather in the forecast, lets hope it doesn't eat away at the ice too much.

  7. I drilled a hole wednesday and there was 3 1/2 inches. I might go tomorrow and venture a little farther out.

  9. I caught a 40" muskie that went 20lbs and my friend caught a 47" that was 15lbs huge head but really skinny both caught in the scugog river.
  10. There was 3 1/2" at the sandbar on scugog as of yesterday.
  11. Drilled a hole on Scugog today.... 2" of soild clear ice, won't be long now.

  13. Say theres 5 or 6 inches on scugog before december 15 when bass and muskie close. Can you still ice fish for those species?

  16. I started fishing simcoe last year and walked out from beaverton. All i could catch was perch I walked out to the island, it took forever.
  17. Wondering if some of you can tell me a spot or two where I can walk out on simcoe for some lake trout and white fish, not looking for spots just where to get on the lake from shore, any help would be great. Thanks
  18. So how much ice do you guys consider enough before you chance taking your cars and trucks out there?

  21. I don't drill enough holes in a day for the gas auger to pay for it self, thanks for your opinion and quick reply.
