  1. Here, hold my beer!
  2. Just glad to here you all made it out safely, that's what is most important in all of this and everything else is all petty. Not sure I understood but if you can get back from the insurance co at least 3/4 of the value I would let it go, if not it's going to be a long battle, not sure you mentioned what depth it's in but you need to retrieve the boat to see what weld broke, when the boat was rewelded was any foam removed for the welding,we're any environment charges laid? Keep us posted
  3. Been in your shoes, first of all, I say always call the cops , even if it seems minor let the cop tell you that and he'll still have to do a report. No report, it's 50/50 in a parking lot, since you were honest and sincere and he a dishonest jackass tell him your damages are $2000 and you will pay for your own car and he pay for his own. Don't feel guilty and carry on, he was probably sitting there waiting for you to hit him so he can scam you,he probably doesn't even have a job!
  4. Good and only choice to go with a Lund I would say without looking at it , $8000 to $9000 in Toronto area and $7000 to $8000 in Thunder Bay, try motor first
  5. Awesome boat! IMO you can't beat a Lund. I sold my 1625 Rebel and picked up my 1750 Tyee with 115hp and the 9.9 pro kicker a month ago, pretty much same boat as yours.I put two cannon mag 10s on it. Still haven't fully broken her in yet but I absolutely love this boat when I got it I was like a 6 year old on Christmas day. Enjoy! See you out there
  6. I have a 1625 Rebel ss with the vinyl floor and planning to upgrade to a Lund 1750 and or a 1800 and hope they have vinyl as well , I've had carpeted boats before and I wouldn't go back. I've never noticed the vinyl being too hot as I often fish barefooted as well.
  7. Why not demand a 115 4stroke for not delivering the agreed contract
  8. With that motor 20 mph downhill ,a 50 hp go with merc would maybe go 30 , the salt corrosion would definitely be a concern , You should investigate it more, worth around $ 6000 to $7000 IMO if u can get it for a good $ then grab it. Good luck
  9. I have a new scratch and dent Tempstar high efficiency 80 000 Btu for sale , cheap! If interested.
  10. Enjoyed a great last day on simcoe caught one whitie but gnerally a slow day, but just a great banner year on Simcoe. One thing that really ticked me off was idiots driving 100 mph and doing donuts on the slick ice one idiot flying by my eight year old son and I buzzing us 20 or 30 yards from us, i don't want to imagine if he would lose control and wipe out people on the ice. Saw another winner a few weeks ago jumping a pressure crack like he was Bo from the Dukes of Hazard in his high performance Caravan catching like 5 feet of air and smacking down bending every axle on his van. Not to mention all the environmental issues of cars that go through the ice, I really think it should be illegal to take a car or truck on the ice. My thoughts Jonboy.
