  1. You guys did great, great looking fish. I fished West arm with my son last weekend in july and did great. Love Nipissing, endless opportunities to fish and never disappoints. ?
  2. Hey Brian, that's a great set up you have . Can't get any closer to the water. Nice lakers also. How do you deal with those speed boats darting on the water?? ??
  3. Great report, and some super nice lakers in that lake. Congratulations!
  4. We just had some amazing sunrises and sunsets...would be a shame if I didn't took a few shots. And, yes...I agree with you grimsbylander, he for sure will remember this way more that any video games he plays...????
  5. Yes, the fishing definitely improved, but keep in mind Nipissing is a fish factory...such an amazing lake that has potential to rebound because of the fantastic forage. It looked like everywhere we throw a lure there was some sort of fish...definitely a place to take kids and youngsters, they won't get bored and plenty of islands to camp.?
  6. Oh, yeah...a week of fishing...awesome!!!??
  7. Thank you! My son really enjoys going outdoors. For the last 3 years we had at least 1-2 weekends of camping + fishing and we already planned for next year. One more (long) weekend of fishing coming up ....Algoma , in September ????
  8. Thank you , sir! It was a perfect weekend ?
  9. I keep forgetting about wearing shoes in the boat. Funny thing(...not funny for me) that actually happened to me in 2013. I was fishing Parry Sound area , got really early in the boat and I forgot a rod on the bottom of the boat, with a lure attached to line...next thing, I got a hook in my foot...had to go to emergency to cut it and get a shot. Thanks for reminding me, I should have learned by now...??
  10. Yes! Agree...we love west bay, awesome place. Nice camping spots and fish everywhere. ?
  11. That was sunrise 3 days in the row...absolutely amazing ?
  12. Hey guys! Had a great weekend of fishing and camping with my son this past weekend. We camped on an island and fished , and fished...?. Bite was hot, we caught some good numbers of pike...not big ones but really feisty ones. Got in to some bass, but none was pic worthy. Perch was on, all weekend, we got a few jumbos while we trolled for walleye. Speaking about walleye...we caught good numbers of those, most of them in between 10 -16 inches. We got keepers also, 2 nice walleye, 19 and 22 inches . Trolling was the key, but one if the keepers was caught on a lure in less than 10 ft of water...was a great weekend for sure. Cheers! Gino
  13. Thanks! We launched at Bewdley
  14. Hey Cap, weeds are low this year, water is high but we found them all along the weeds. Trolled and ripped bucktail jigs. Both worked. Cheers!
  15. Thanks! Was an awesome day, for sure.
  16. Hey everyone We had a great day at Rice lake, walleye cooperated from the first light, and I was happy to see my buddy getting his first Rice lake walleyes. Wind was there from early morning, but it only did good for the eyes as they love a little chop. By 11 am we had the limit. Cheers! Gino
  17. Awesome! Some good size trout in that lake . Looks like a beautiful day on the ice. ?
  18. thanks Rokin-steelhead. Will talk.
  19. Thanks a lot! Let me know if your buddy is available...message me on private if it's more convenient for you. Thanks again! Gino
  20. I have a beauty 12 ft Lund aluminum fitted with a Johnson 9.9 hp 4 stroke. Boat is in a great shape, outboard is awesome, sips gas and runs all day. Love the set up. It might need a carb cleaned , that's all. I know, some people don't take care of they're rigs and expect miracles from a shop. That's the way it goes. I'll find someone that is close to KW. Thanks
  21. Mr.Old ironmaker...I understand your rant...and your frustration. However, I'm not even remotely close to Dunnville...or wherever you live/work... Thanks for reply. Cheers!
  22. Bahahahaha! Not up there where you live ..in the boonies...???
