  1. I’m an electrician for the St. Lawrence Seaway in Niagara.
  2. I don't think you could enought power to do more than run a laptop or a radio.
  3. I don’t want to rain on your parade but, I went to Sir Sandfordflemming I don’t have a bad thing to say about the school or the teachers. I still fish with my best friend that I met at school, I took Aquaculture, but now I’m a electrician because I wanted to afford to move out of my parents basement. I love the outdoors but you have to look at what opportunities exist.
  4. For musky baits what waters do you want to fish. The kind of baits I would sugest would be very different for St. Clair as compared to G-Bay. But you can't go wrong with belivers, shallow, deep, cast, troll works for evert thing. If you are new to musky fishing my best advice is learn to tune your baits when trolling, some time if its a bait I really want to use I'll spend 30 min getting it to run right and make sure its running right all day.
  5. Try putting the left over fish crisp on you potatos, you can oven roast them that way or fry them. Personaly I won't use his crap just because his name is on it.
  6. To pick between a tiller and a counsel it all depends what kind of fishing you like to do I fish musky allot and in nasty weather so a full windshield and a rain top works great for me, but if you are into smaller lakes and trolling for walleyes then a tiller is the way to go. One thing with a tiller it tow like a rocket I wish some one would make a full windshield that could fold down when towing it like dragging a pareshoot
  7. http://www.muskyhunter.com/forums/generalforum/14542.html Here it is.
  8. Good I'm assumeing it was a musky they had, all of GB has 55" size limite, I hope thay had reel exspensive gear. All waters need more enfrcement or at least a precence.
  9. I would agree that is not a 60 lb fish more likely a little over 35 untill you have a 40 lbs in your hands most guys have know idea how big of a fish that is. A 50 is a rare thing, very few true 60 lb muskys have been caught, but they are out there. I think when it comes to musky most guys have not handeld a fish that big 35 inch musky looks huge, compared to 3 and 4 lb bass wich are good bass.
  10. I've been looking at the Penn 975, and will be getting one before next year, any reel you get a power handle helps for power and speed.
  11. I spent 2 summers guiding out Kesagami it 95 miles north of Cochrane and every year it was the same thing by middle summer the camp was over run with jack rabbits they were everywhere it was nothing to see a train of 10 chasing each other, then the wolves would show up early to mid Aug, you would never see them or hear them the rabbit population just would get smaller, you ask how did we know it was wolves the, its the answer to the old joke it does s**t in the woods. We had every thing up there and the only thing that made me nervous was the bears sometimes they would come into camp at night they were around the dump and some times would show up for shore lunch.
  12. Look to go south for a vacation and would like to do some bone fishing (wading flates) it would not just be a fishing vacation so a nice resort that the wife would enjoy, anybody have and recomdations. Thanks
  13. i have a Lowrance X27c and I know it has put fish in the boat for me, and has for spilt screen when you have the color its so much easier to read the information you don't need a big screen, and learn how to use it not just turn it on and run it in maual.
  14. Here my set up, I use safety straps as well, cheap insurance could be a few bucks between rod , reel, line and lure .
