Hi folks, long, long, long time no talk! Hope al my old friends are doing great! Unfortunately I just don't do the amount of fishing I used too but I'll be heading up to a place called the Highlands Motel on the shores of 12 mile lake and wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some shore fishing opportunities in the area. I'll have a bit of time to go for a few hours maybe Friday afternoon or Sunday morning.
When I went with Aaron Shirley all we did was a single small egg on a tiny tiny hook with home made Lindy style sinkers. Can't remember the size of the hooks. BTW Hi Roy. Long time. Good luck.
I still talk to kronik all the time. He's gone through a lot of changes in his life recently and is very busy with work. He hasn't had much time for fishing the last few years.
DouGy oh my god buddy, I haven't spoken to you in years. I hope all is well friend.
Things have changed a bit since I saw you last.
I'm a daddy now. If you thought those other pictures were a nice catch..........This one is the best of my life.
It took a few years but my father and I have finally figured out a a strategy for the Grand River. Last last few years we have been catching limits or close to each time we head out. We went out again yesterday sticking to the same method as always and got rewarded with some mighty fine fish. I'm not going to give away my method or spots but I will say this, 1 lure (different color patterns) and trolling the same spots within a 10 minute boat ride of the launch.
thanks for the help Jet.
Joey, I'll be in a boat but I have no clue how big. My uncle lives that way and friends of his that live on the water will be letting us use their boat. Why do you ask?
I havn't seen some of you guys in such a long time. Thanks for the pics Joey. Miss ya all. maybe some decade I'll make it out to another Crayola invitational. (I'll drag Kronik with me too)
