  1. i would look at something in the 9' range with a 4-10 or 6-12 line rating that way you'll be able to use it for trout in the boat and from bouncing from shore that rod will also cover throwing jigs or spoons if you want to do that , the rod you have will work but its no ideal for that type of fishing but i've seen much worse , just make sure you have a reel with a good drag

  2. just a quick question , i'm looking at trying a Pflueger Patriarch in place of my 2500 Ci4 reels

i think its the 9535 size that i need to be the comparable size and Line capacity as my shimano i'm just not sure how Pflueger sizes there reels am i on the right track? also does anyone have any experiance with the drag on these reels ? smooth ?

    thank you

  3. i've heard alot of good things about the Cabelas brands of boots ($79) if you have a way of getting them to you without getting hit with heavy shipping and duty fees

I have the Simms Guide boots with the Vibram soles and am very happy with them , they have been through a lot and are still in great shape ($225)

  4. I just ordered a $24.99 item from BassPro , buy the time it was said and done with duty , taxes border fees handle fees, it cost me near $80 through Fed EX , but i needed the item in a hurry so i had no choice !

  5. Great take more guys down there next time, bring more newbies down there and tell the whole GTA while you're at it, looks like that's what you wanna do by posting the same report on every single fishing forum. Anything to get a free ride down there so you can save gas money. Did you catch your own fish this time ??? glare.gif
