  1. there's horror stories from Titan and Tundra owners too, with the current state down here in the GTA and the political climate, I just absolutely refuse to buy and drive a foreign vehicle

I work for Ford, I've had great luck with their vehicles and have always bought new Fords, zero problems, no complaints in that respect, but mainly because of the way they treat their employees, my wife and I are both driving Wranglers and there probably will never be a Ford or GM in our driveway, out of principle.

with Trudeau steering this ship to hell in a hand basket, all we've got left is our buying power

  2. My young nephew Teagan had had enough.

We had a DD and a few drinks were flowing for the others. The bite was slow and the conversation was getting rich with crap. Teagan is still too young to drink and participate in the stupidity. Teagan had a sneer on his face and he grabbed the auger walked off. He walked into no man's land and cut a hole and set a line.

Once he returned to base camp, one guy was singing "O holy night" acapella. It wasn't long before Teagan was sprinting back to no man's land because his rod was bouncing. He dropped the hammer on a beauty 9 pounder that would make the day a success and he would give himself an early X mas present, a new PB.

Don't you worry your fragile little leafer egos. Plenty of season left to ride the fanatical fandom which is a TML's fan roller coaster which will ultimately lead to yet a other failure. And we'll be here to remind every last one of you of that Traditional Failure. Merry Christmas

I'm guessing you watched the Leaf game this afternoon and got "inspired" to post, lol.

yes, merry Christmas, suck your candy cane

LOL so now you want it both ways. First you complain about all haters and now it's too quiet.

LOL who's complaining? I'm just stating an observation, and I'll always say, darn haters are gonna hate

your demeanor seems to have changed a bit lately, and it seems to coincide with the way some teams are playing lately,  LOL

after the Leafs/ Wings, my feed switched to Flyers/ Sens  starting OT, if Connor Brown is starting 3 on 3 and Ennis is the first shooter in shoot out, things probably aren't looking good

Those bailouts came with the assumption that it’d be paid off by keeping Canadians employed and paying taxes...instead they took our money and shipped it off to Mexico.

    exactly,

I know you're not happy with your Dodge, but I think you easily could have had bad luck with a Silverado or F150, Tundra or Titan too, it's a crap shoot, but these guys buying stuff from GM dealerships in and around Oshawa should actually be throwing Molotov cocktails through the front windows of the dealership instead of buying vehicles, our gov't sucks and is useless, all we've got left is our buying power, the GM dealerships around Oshawa should be dusting off cobwebs, but they're not, it's busy and business as usual, it's mind boggling

  6. I'm one of the penalty minute leaders in my workplace. Lots of arguments, many suspensions, I was fired once but my girlfriend at the time, her Dad was a big boss and pulled some strings and got me back, lol.

I have a friend at GM, 3rd generation, divorced with a bunch of kids, he's one of the lucky ones who will be back in the spring but he was really stressed while everything was in limbo.

The thing that really bothers me about the GM Oshawa thing is, GM took $11 billion from Canada as a bailout not too long ago, Canada meaning the tax payers like you and I, and they return the favour with moving to Mexico while the company is profitable and netting billions.

I hope the guys that have always bought GM think twice on their next vehicle purchase.

  7. It's not just my bias then, those numbers are statistically significant and can't be disputed, there's something rotten with the refs and the player safety people with respect to the Leafs, and the Leafs have a creampuff team.

The Okposo hit was reviewed by the league, but the refs didn't even call a 2 minute minor? when player safety and concussions are the hot topic?

The 590 guys seem like they're tongue tied for political reasons, they can only mention the word "conspiracy" jokingly and briefly, but they hint at it.

  8. I'm biased, but last night's refs were ridiculous, the phantom call on Hyman that could have cost them the game, and the no call on Okposo, an analyst on AM 590 said he thought the play should result in a 3 game suspension, instead there wasn't even a 2 minute PP, what joke.

Teams will continue to run around because the Leafs can't enforce themselves. Man, I miss the days when we had a guy that you could just open the cage and point.

Chris I was merely pointing out that at least we've recently had a great playoff run to be excited about as a fan base, you need to follow the context of the paragraph bud. You should chill man and not take everything so adversarially. I'm not Matt.

that's a fair comment, you do seem more reasonable and mature than the other clowns, I do know the Karlsson, Duchene and Stone trades, I'll chill, unless the LEAFS LOSE TONIGHT AND I"VE HAD A BUNCH OF BEERS, lol, just kidding

with all do respect, I think the sens playoff run did lead to a chain of irrational decisions, and at times the franchise seems like a circus for lack of a better word

Also if you care to recall, only 3 seasons ago we came a game 7 overtime goal away from making the finals.

I think this is what got the sens to their current state, a train wreck and an embarrassment to Canada.

They had a good playoff run, played well and got some bounces, but then they assumed they were legitimate cup contenders. The next season they came back to reality, management and fans were appalled and over reacted, blowing up the team and getting virtually nothing in return.

I guess we have different opinions on that, lol.

The Sens have so much of what the laffs are missing

They play a hard fast paced game and will not back down.

    Fun to watch.

yeah, yeah, sens are fantastic, Leafs suck, I might have heard that before, broken record

I think it's kinda neat to hear the Go Leafs Go chant in different rinks like tonight in VAN, I'm curious, does that enrage you guys?

Spezza is a has been who is trying to hang on to his career for a few years now. It's apparent he will wind his career down regretting ever wanting to be inflicted with the blue and white disease.

As for JT.......Islanders are a better team without him.

Buffalo is a team to watch, and Tampa is going to have a strong rest of the season.

    Golf laffs golf

Spezza is $700k??? and he's looked deadly lately. Seems like a cool guy too, hopefully a mentor to the kids.

Long Island was absolutely irate and enraged when JT returned for the 1st time wearing blue and white, yeah, it sounds like they're glad to get rid of him????

Buffalo is mediocre and coming back to reality after a strong start. The Bolts, who knows, an enigma.

wanna bet the Leafs golf? or I'll bet the senioritas golf? your choice

Smitty, I don't watch the sens, absolutely no desire to, maybe those guys have benefited from a change of scenery and being rid of babs,  and in a city where nobody watches or cares and things are different now, but I've watched those guys under a microscope for a while and I thank Christ we're rid of them and Zaitsev's contract and Hainsey's constant screw ups.

The guy we haven't mentioned is Ennis. That's a guy I miss, great value when he was in TO.

And Spezza how's that working out ?? The master plan of infiltration into  laff land has been successful ......next the self imploding Ceci. And then there was the Kadri hit....you can't make this stuff up pure gold keep chirping boys we'll just keep cooking in your kitchen🤣

Spezza is actually looking great lately, better than Marleau and $5.8M less, awesome, cheap acquisition.

Good luck with Hainsey, Zaitsev and Brown, I'm very familiar with those players, the sens have a lot of money invested in garbage right there.

it's you haters that are chirping, the only thing cooking is sausage between you guys
