Ive just purchased a Tracker V16 proguide SC and I'm not sure which rod holders to put on it. They'll be mostly used for trolling for musky. I would like to know if you guys have any recommendations on which ones to buy. Thanks

I would like to know where the money from our licences are going. I think it should be towards stocking programs so we dont have to reley on private organization.

I was thinking of fishing the holland landing for some pike since its so close to home. Has anyone had and luck there recently? Is it worth it to give it try or would I have better chances in cooks bay. Thanks for any advice. Matt

Kevin the funny thing is that after my dad fooled around with the circuit board and put everything back together, the trolling motor seemed to work fine. I'm not sure what he did but hopefully it's fixed. But if it happens again i'll take it to aikman's. matthew

Just got off the phone with minn kota and they said that it is burned out and they don't make the part for it anymore. So I guess were going to have to buy another one. Thanks for everyone who tried to help. Matthew

Thanks everyone for your help I think the speed coil is fried. Do you guys think that it is worth replacing it on an holder model or just to buy a new unit. I am going to phone minn kota to see how much the replacement part will be.

I live at 401 and Keele.

I just noticed yesterday when I was on the lake that my minn kota 36lbs thrust was only operating on full speed no matter what speed setting I put it on. Has this happened to anyone before? Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Matthew

thanks banger and thanks lostchild for enlarging the picture. When we showed some of the locals the pics they couldn't beleve that it was from maple lake. It is the lake connected to beech and green.

I toatally agree with you lew. I have a small 14 footer and my dad and i have decided not to go fishing on weekends because there are to many boaters with no respect for one another. matt
