Well guys just found out the wife didint renew her fishing licence and was wondering if there is a tackle shop that sells them on the keswick side before 7am.

Well i wish i had a nice camera that day! all i had was the cell phone LOL! might have to steal the wifes camera next trip! How many pounds do u guys think it was 4?

Well keith called me up sat night and needed sleded to guide him on the ponds LOL ! well i never got paid hahah! We started off the day around 7 with some thick fog. keith started off the day with a small crappie so things were lookin good. i started off slow rolling spinnerbaits in a deep weed flat no luck. So i said to myself im going to throw something that i dont use a lot for bass so i put on a x rap clown. I started with stop go very slow and i picked up a small bass in a 50/50 zone so things were looking good i found a pattern!! We move down a bit in were there was a bunch of stumps so i casted past a stump and paused near the stomp for at least 10 secs, reeled in felt weight and the fight was on!!!!!!!!! ive never had a large mouth bull dog and fight this hard in cold water! keith grabed the net and scooped her up! I dont know how much she weighed but she had some weight to her. After that we packed it in and headed to turkey for some panfish caught tons of gills some small perch. we then decided to hit up a small trib for some salmon we tried small spinners and spoons. i seen some salmon moving into a pool and i cast right at the current break and whammmmmm salmon on! good little fight but ended up going into the trees. Over all had a really good day and cant wait to get out and do it again thanks keith for coming out.

Well i woke up and had the bass pox, called rob and we headed to the pond. We got to the pond around 11 and i knew we were going to catch some bass over cast with light rain! well i knew for sure to have a buzzbait on and a spinnerbait! we worked the whole shoreline pretty good that was until my electric motor drive pin decided to bust LOL I wasint going to let that ruin my day so we had to paddle and anchor to falling trees and logs where all the bass came out of. Almost every piece of structure in that pond we caught fish! Its been 2 years since ive hit up this pond and its still on one of my top list of fav's and im sure is now one of robs fav ponds to fish. I had a great time and cant wait to do it again thanks for coming out rob

im sorry to say this but i cant make it out this weekend i found out i have to go to a wedding with the wife.

I have a 98 100 merc starts up fine at the lanch but if yur still fishing for like 5 mins and go to start it u have to put the throttle down before starting and it will start. dont know if theres a adjustment i can do but any help would be great. thanks sleded

Well me and the wife headed to the cat hole around 9:30 to see if there was any kitties bitting. We set up camp and about 5 mins i had my first hit!! reeled in a little bit and fish on! not a huge cat but ill take it! We were getting hits all night but they never took the bait just played with it. Then the brother in law shows up and i set him up and in about a hr he was fighting a big cat but lost it. The wind started to get cold and strong and i look over at the wifes rod and she gets a huge hit. she told me to grab the rod and i held on it for a while till one big pull almost pulled my rod out of my hand. I set the hook and the line started to scream i handed the rod over to the brother in law and boy he was having fun! Had a blast out there and cant wait to get some more! maybe one day rich will get off his ass and come out there with me!

Well the wife for once said lets go out in the boat and do some crappie fishing i was like wow mark this day on the calender LOL so we head out to a few spots with no luck and shes like lets go over to the tree over there with the dock so we head over and first cast i get a nice slab! After that it was non stop and we ended up keeping 20 crappies and letting go 10. They seemed liked they wanted it moving before they hit it and they were in tight to the wood. nice day to be on the water cant wait to do it again bring on the cats!

LOL onions ha ha ha !! but ya its right off number 6! go to the lights in jarvis and go though them and make the first left which is the park and u will see the cars and the hall on the left side. Hopefully i can meet some OFC guys there!! should be a fun time.

Well me and red devil headed out to the crappie zone for the day and man it was a slow slow day! Man that place is getting hit hard this year looks like a small lake simcoe lol!! We ended up getting some crappies for shore lunch but the highlight of the trip was the huge breakfast i made on the ice!! Bear sauage, bacon, home fries, eggs!! red devil couldint even eat it all he was so full ha ha ha! We had a great day out there will be doing it again soon.

Woke up early this morning and had the itch to fish so i headed off to binbrook for the derby fishing world was putting on. Well i got to the gates and the place was lined up back to the road this was not good. Ive never seen so many people fishing on a pond in my life it looked like st willums! Well i pulled the hut out and set up camp near a point in about 25 feet of water. My uncle and his women ditched me so i called red devil up and he came out right away with his magic minnows! when red devil came i got out of the hut and watch a guy land the biggest crappie ive ever seen in my life! It was 1.75 pounds wow thats all i got to say! Well the crappie bite was slow in the morning but picked up in the afternoon and boy did it ever! we had rods set up out side right in front of the window and we were running in and out all the time. Together me and keith landed 33 crappies let go two that were loaded with eggs. We never got any prizes but we sure had a lot of fun out there! Get out there guys before the ice melts theres still a lot of crappie to be caught out there! Thanks for coming out keith i had a blast

Well got a phone call fri night from my uncle and he wanted to head down and try some crappie fishing with his wife to be and a few of this buddies. Well the day started off good a lot of bites but i only landed one crappie in the moring but my uncle and his womean caught about 10. The bite started to get very light in the afternoon so we cut the tail off the minnow and then we started getting more fish. Late afternoon my brother came out and he caught his first crappie and now he loves to ice fish about time ha ha ha. We ended up the whole group getting about 17 crappies for shore lunch!!! The new hut worked really good just have to get some heat in her for next time , cant wait to try it out again!!

Looks like you guys battled mother nature today pretty good! Remember the days rich when we never had a hut to warm our selfs up in. snow storms! ha ha ha! I would of been out there with u guys but the wife and i went to the falls and i tell u i rather be out there frezzin my ass off then go look at the falls LOL!!! hey guys im up here in the ottawa valley and will be up here till end of jan. wondering if anyone has tried any of the lakes up here or the ottawa rive ice fishing. not lookin for hot spots just wondering what kind of fish are in them. thanks guys
