  1. There is an article posted on musky hunter about the fish. (don't know how to link it)First time musky angler on a charter, they tried to revive her but no go.Good read.
  2. I was thinking I had missed a post or something.
  3. Anyone have anymore info on this fish?Musky hunter has a thread with a link to some pics(don't know how to attach them). It says it was caught and kept on nov 30,and weighed just over 56 lbs.
  4. I know a few guys who do well for pike on canal, only ever fished Balsam a few times as a kid.I used to fish Scugog and Pigeon alot for musky. We had a blast trolling believers on short lines ,very fast.Good numbers, really exiting.
  5. musky hunter and The next bite web-sites both have article sections with good reads on the subject.
  6. I've read a couple of articles, one about ripping them and another about jigging above suspended bait.Have you had any success with these baits or methods?
  7. attachments_2010_10_04-2.zipi just recieved two of these today (cisco-blue and chart/silver/orange).Has anyone used these?I can't wait to try them on some deep muskys.
  8. I just got back from Walmart at eglington and Warden. They had a display at the front of the store,2/$2.The cans are smaller (388ml)than the ones I get from the states but will do just fine. The ladie who pointed me in the right direction said she doesn't think they will be carrying them normally ,just from time to time.
  9. Went to Morninside location today, no fargin bush's beans. My source said they saw them at Warden and Eglinton, may check tomorrow.
  10. When another OFC member first told me about them and let me sample them, I thought he might be on crack the way he was going on about his beans..couple of bites in I thought maybe they put crack in them and maybe that's why they taste so good. For the past ten years anyone I know going to the States HAS to bring me back a case!!
  11. Heard a rumour that at least half a dozen members I know will be interested in... Bush's Beans now available at Wall Mart - I'll be cleaning out the Scarborough location shortly after they open tomorrow!! If you've never tried them and like beans give them a try, you'll understand why people will go to great lengths to bring them up here from the states. Just thought I'd share.
  12. GB and Tim, thanks. She's a" chunky monkey" huh?
  13. The full story is on musky hunter now .wish I knew how to make a link or even attach the pic.scary big.
  14. my best two added together this year may not make that mark.
  15. Heard a rumour a 61 inch long muskie was reported and later pulled from a musky site this weekend.Does anyone have any details?
  16. Tim just on my way out now,all fired up after your post.I have one of your "old faithfuls" in the boat somewhere,I just may have to give her a good washing tomorrow.Great shots and I can't believe the bulging stomach on her. It's one thing to land a big girl like that and another to do it "Han Solo."Glad to hear she swam away strong too.
  17. ...just come and visit, it's so much easier and less expensive.
  18. Couldn't agree more. That one little tidbit is a great start and will produce for most species early -on in the year.Another saying is to always start on "south- facing" areas.
  19. Sounds great.I wont tell Dave about the cabin,no-one will ever hear from him again.
  20. Saw these on a site over the winter ,sent away for one and thaught it may work on the creeks for bows. We've been "hot-shotting" for a few years but on the creek today I was blown away at how helpful these are.Still early but may be the best 12 bucks i ever spent.
  21. Poked around at frenchmans bay 3 days this past week.A couple of hours each time, landed a half dozen, saw maybe 20 caught.Fished the bridge at liverpool,if the water is dirty try the new retaining wall on the east shore.Huskys and original floaters were the baits, worked slow with long stops.
  22. Me ,You and Dave all on that .Your dad and Dave's gear on a second one,and away we go!
