  1. This is good info Al but if you buy your tickets online you cant use the Coupons from the Toronto Sun
  2. Okay I think there is a glitch on the system, Dan The Man's avatar is of the Canadians....montreal has good bagels, fishing and winter activities, but as for a hockey team, hmmm I cant say they are good. hahahaha sorry since this is a fishing post i thought i would throw my thoughts in GO LEAFS GO (we are not making the playoffs but we will look good for 10 games at least hahahah)
  3. See here is my issue. I dont have a problem with the Generic brands although for Spoons, I think Eppinger makes the best, there is just something about the action that is slightly different and I will gladly pay the difference when/if I ever buy another. But the 6" Grubs, I was confused. I know a lot of people that buy them and the guy told me they just didnt fit in. But you can go down their Musky aisle and pick up (cant remember the make) but they are $16 for 2. I find the Power Grubs or Magnum Grubs if you will, work a lot better. I have to search for them and I pick them up whenever I find them. The Creme/White seem to work the best for me. They need to keep both, offer both, dont discontinue one. Offer variety and people will pay. ie. if there were a section of Pink Lures, I would have to buy my girlfriend something every time I am there. Thank god they dont carry fishergirl yet hahaha
  4. MacGyver can build a plane out of gum and paper clips but Chuck Norris can kill him and take it Sorry couldnt resist
  5. I was there trying to buy some Power Grubs 4" and 6" which I was told they will not be getting back in and the Bass Pro brand only carries 3" and 4" in so off colors. As far as the guy knew they were not going to carry 6".
  6. They have definitely dropped the Avid line for the Legend Tournament. I picked up 2 Avids last spring. T They were shipped in from St. Croix in WI and I talked to the rep here. He said they only had 3 left so I took 2 of them. I am so glad I did. I dont mind Paying the price for the Legends but if i am going to spend that amount I am going to look at other lines (ie G Loomis) as well before I purchase. I will go with a Premier as I actually really like the one I have right now. Its a broom stick but I love it.
  7. I dont mind them selling knock-offs at all, HOWEVER, I do not like they they are phasing out certain items such as plastics so they can carry their brand only. I was looking for a specific grub there and the guy told me they are phasing out Berkley and eventually are going to carry only Bass Pro. I wonder if they are going to do it with the other brands???
  8. For the guys who use the St. Croix's are they the Premier Musky (PMXXXX), Avid Musky (AMXXXX) or just standard St. Croix's you use for Musky. I think I will pick up a Compre just to try it out but my Avid Musky's are phenomenal.
  9. Sounds good Bill. Although the Kawarthas are a lot easier to fish with results, the challenge of Georgian Bay is too much to pass up. I am going to really try and focus on the Moon River Delta, Severn Sound and Pointe Au Baril in particular. I am itchin to get out now. I am also going to try Toronto Harbour this year. I have never fished it, i dont know why. But I want to try this year. Soon hopefully.
  10. Since I am new to this board I need to ask, where is all the "help" sections located? I feel really slow but this is a more complex board then i have ever been on haha Good on ya guys.
  11. No Lew, that is pretty interesting thats for sure. I am in Mississauga right now and they dont look anything like that. Great picture. I dont think we will ever see clouds like that again.
  12. Hey guys, thanks for being so welcoming. I look forward to all the banter that I see that goes on in here and will do my best to keep up.
  13. Thanks cc. I feel kind of bad for not posting it earlier. I am already addicted though. I know this will become a problem.
  14. Sounds good G, I am pretty good with computers but no pro. I am familiar with photobucket but not with message boards at all. I am still trying to figure out the signature part and so on, I will eventually figure it out, I hope. Strange, I used to work with a guy named Gerritt and he was a phenom with computers. He was a grimsby boy though, not from the Hammer.
  15. Since everyone makes you feel welcome here, and I just posted mine, I am officially saying welcome, as this will probably be the only time I ever first to reply on here. I have never seen such fast replies. Welcome aboard....with me of course
  16. I wonder if there has ever been a post longer then this
  17. There are $2.00 off coupons in the Toronto Sun Sportsman Show Pull-Out if anyone is looking. Todays paper
  18. Dan do you guys do just elevators or do you do lifts too? I had a lady inquire yesterday about a lift along her stair...
  19. $125, that sounds like a really good deal. I wonder if I can convince them to throw in a DC10 or maybe a Super Girl with that haha Thanks Lew
  20. G, if I put them on Photobucket, do I reference them on here? Or should I just add them to the gallery on here?
  21. Thanks Lew, what are the Compre's sellin for there? I paid $200 flat for my 8' Avid and I know they are cheaper then that. Crazy, what model do you use from Loomis?
  22. haha I am gettin' there G, it is saying my files are too large though. I am not the most experienced on boards, but when I figure it out I will get them on here. I am no pro by any means and like I said, just started the Musky obsession. I will get em' up though. Sooner or later
  23. Sure Dan, Mattamy would be that company. I hope I didn't gain some enemies by putting this in the General view haha
  24. Thanks Ranger, I am glad to be apart of this board now. Now I have to get myself a hat so I can be "known" as an OFC'r. This is probably the classiest looking board I have seen around too. Just the look of the site in General is really well done.
  25. The Loomis lines seem to really focus on the Bucktail/Topwater style so far. I am assuming next year they will release a few more actions that will fair better with different styles of lures. I am no expert at all, and notice a huge difference between actions and lures with my St. Croix's. I will look very closely at the Compre's this weekend though. I think they will perform better then I can hahaha.
