Of course that stat won't change because Ovy, Sid, Stamkos, Malkin and all the other top scorers were set a memo to take it easy this season. Oh, and of course the laffs are clearly better than Chicago, Boston, LA and the other cup contenders. Laff fans crack me up! Or is that what you've been smoking? LoL

Think of the disadvantage of any team playing their first game against a team when all the rest are 3-4 games into their schedule. Kind of redonkulous if you ask me!

About 2 months ago after a game of hockey I felt a little tingle in my knee, the next morning it was so swollen I couldn't walk. I went to my gp and she said I needed an MRI and booked one for me 5 days later. Well the knee got so bad by 2 days later they had me in for an MRI, the results of which were back in my gp's office 3 days later, torn MCL, torn meniscus, all kinds of other complications! Also on it was a concern for infection, I was summoned to my dr's office immediately and was taken to emerg, where a battery of tests were done again. The results showed no infection, and the Dr felt they might be able to fix it with physio, so they wrote me a req for physio and for a follow up with the orthopedic surgeon to be thorough. 5 sessions of physio and the pain and swelling was down considerably. Today I had the ortho meeting and he scheduled a surgery for me on the 18th Oct with a strong probability of being moved up to the 10th. What blew me away was he said in and out in 2hrs, walking normally within 36 hrs and back on skates(the leafs called me today lol) within 7-10 days. Total cost to me $0.00 nada, ziltch!!! I know this is not always the case but for me it couldn't have been better. Just wanted to show that there is some good things happening in Canadian health care.

I see a quick out of the gate, a fizzle and then a collapse equal to a certain playoff game last year. Defence is weak, won't be long before it wears on the forwards.

I wouldn't expect a laff fan to be able to see talent even if it was shown to him. If you listen to anything hockey outside that so called center of the universe or as I call it, the toilet bowl of hockey you would see the same sentiment expressed by many hockey experts

Was watching a bit on tv and it's amazing the attitude of some of the American politicians and media. Hey, here's a heads up to you ! Just because you think and say you are the greatest nation in the world, doesn't mean you are. Ever think that attitude might be part of the problem? Idiots!!!

Ottawa will open some eyes this year, Toronto on the other hand will have laffites covering their eyes. Its just so easy to ridicule the laffs because they suck so bad. And the fact Ottawa will make the playoffs again and did 12 of the last 14 years gives a bit of confidence
