  1. Seeing as i can t get parts for my Browning anymore I am looking at a new reel,any ideas for a half decent medium/light reel for Walley fishing ? My Browning worked well for years,needs a new spring to bring the bail back,but anyone i talked to says none of the folks that service reels have no parts for Browning anymore,so have to bite the bullet or keep an eye on the bail and make sure it returns after tossing the line out. Thanks Al
  2. Does anyone know of someone that services reels in the Oshawa/Pickering area? I have a Browning that have used for years and is great and light,but needs a little tweaking,the bail does not flip all the way back sometims.probably just needs a new spring,I used some reel oil on it,helped a bit,but not like it should be.Don t want to toss it out, would appreciate you help.   6. Sorry I didn t say what i was doing with it, little trolling,jigging, an all around rod would be good. will check out the St Croix,I have a G loomis, little heavy for finessing and jigging tho.
  7. I am looking for a walleye rod,I broke the tip off my Browning,and want to replace it,anyone have any suggestions on what is half decent out there these days ? Thanks for your opinions.

  11. thanks for all the input guys. picked up Foodsaver v3 something model at wallyworld, was cheapest spot around, and u can use Rival bags in it,which are 12 versus 27 for the Food saver bags, tried it out,works pretty cool Thanks Al

Not sure if anyone has an idea about vaccum sealers,saw something on here last week about Rival at ctc,did some research and thought they might not be so good,checked out Food Saver, few different models,Wallyworld has some for 159 read reviews on that some loved it some said they were junk,looking to purchase one,if anyone has any ideas on a particular brand good or bad i would appreciates your input.   15. EUREKA !!!!! Fianlly got it working, had so much confidence in fellow OFC ers, that i didn t even test it as I went along,put the whole thing together,blades,lights, and sure enough,flipped the switch and it didn t work. Then i pulled the chain. I thank everyone immensley for their input, and Terry who dug and kept coming up with suggestions. Thanks everyone.

  17. Think i had enough for today hahaha. Will take apart the one i put in a few years ago in the other room and see what it looks like tomorrow. Maybe good fortune will shine on me Sunday. Thanks for all the help guys Al

  20. maybe, i hooked the whites,blue together and the blacks together.
  21. i think that is close. 3 cables coming in. 3 blacks together, 1 white into the other, and a single white, I m sorry i don t know how to explain it any differently, I hooked the old fixture up and it works fine, and the light switch lights up. was trying to upload pics,but that wont work for me either, whew sat the 14th bad day.
