hey guys i know there have been a few posts regarding algonquin park but i wanna be a little more detailed and ask about Rock lake... i'm going to start camping algonquin this season and try to fish as many little back lakes as i can... right now for trout but when smallies open up ill definitely be after those.... the first lake i'm going to be targeting is rock lake, only reason is because they have the amenities, as were bringing the girls on this trip, and were allowed boats up to 20 hp.... later down the road we will do a lot of canoe renting.... anyways, i wanted as much info as possible on that specific lake, whether it be previous experiences, fishing info or just general structure.... i'll take any info offered..... thanks a lot guys fishingguy28

hey guys hows it goin.... i think i'm gonna be goin to St.George New Brunswick at the end of august and wanted some advice on the fishing there... i know it has amazing fishing, but i don't know what for... i'm pretty sure both fresh water and salt water excursions are available, but i wanted to know if they had charters where a big boat goes out and takes you fishing, like a party boat, i guess it is, it can hold large groups and they usually do wreck fishing and stuff... anyways, any information will be appreciated.... thanks a lot Anthony

nope just bringing some trout gear for depot harbour.... wont even bother fishing on otter, not worth the hastle if CO's are out there, by the way, does anyone know how to get to Depot harbour, or at least to the bridge where you cross, i have beenthere once before but can't seem to remember... thanks a lot guys

hey man call it what you will, i'm not that great when it comes to electronics and computer things, i looked at map d and could see pary sound but it was not part of those divisions, so i looked at the top of map C where i would think it would be and wasn't there either.... thats when i decided to ask the board...

hey guys i have tried to look on the MNR website but can't seem to find which division otter lake is in, it's in parry sound.... if anyone could give me a hand that would be great... i'm gonna be up there this weekend and want to make sure that pike are open... thanks alot Fishingguy28

hey man me and a few buddies will be at fosters aswell.... never fished that area so should be good.... !!!!!

been to a few of the mentioned places above..... 2 that i have stayed at are sandy haven and Adventure camp ohio.... both are same in terms of the cabin quality, cleans and simple.... Tv's in both.... only difference is that sandy haven gives you the option to upgrade your boat to a nice one if your renting and it's right on the lake.....Adventure camp ohio is on the south river and boats are simple 16ft with a 15 on the back.... other info Sandy haven is more expensive, adventure camp ohio is cheaper..... camp ohio also includes all the gas in the boat rental!!!

I jus bought a beautiful reel and i love it..... well actually haven't had the chance to work a fish on it yet but it spins like a dream and is silky smooth..... like you i also need a lefty which they have... the reel is the New Quantum burner... 7:1 ratio......... got it on ebay for a great price but i think they normally retail for $250 or so....

oh really.... i didn't really want to be in the shallow part of the lake!!! thanks a lot for the info!!!

well guys, think i'm gonna end up going to nipissing..... i have stayed at a few different resorts but have not stayed at this one..... wanted to get some info on it and here some thoughts from those of you that have been.... thanks a lot guys!!!! ps- i usually fish the south river area.... this year i wanted to try this place whicih is located near cache bay, or try out callander bay.... all info is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea unfortunatley i have experienced the same thing.... i went to the french river for a week trip for 3 years in a row and only managed to catch a handful of walleye..... i thik if i went there now i might be able to catch more than that caus ei have gained a lot of experience since then..... but i would rather fish a place such as nipissing where it's almost gauranteed walleye!!!

yea that's why i was worried about the french..... i have been to quinte to.... i have never had a tonne of luck there..... nipissing is still an option i think

hey guys, i have been goin to lake nipissing for walleye opener for the past 4 years now.... i wanted to know some of your thoughts and recomendations on any other destinations that would have good walleye fishing aswell.... i go with some guys that are not "die hard" fisherman, so i am ok with settling for quantity rather than quality.... i was thinking of the french river but have not really been there at that time of year.... once again, any thoughts or recomendations would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hey guys hit triba all day friday and today and it finally payed pff....well sort of....lol I managed landing one 3lb brown..... i'll put up a pick as soon as i can..... the waters have still been looking real dirty.....!!!
