hey guys, like i said before i'm going to be going to new brunswick next weekend for a vacation.... obviously i'm going to be fishing.... the relatives of my girl friend are going to be taking us flounder and mackerel fishing.... now i wanna bring some of my own gear.... not a tonne of stuff but a couple rod set ups and some terminal tackle.... in terms of rod set ups what do you think i should bring, (length, spinning/casting, a action)???? thanks guys

Hey guys i'm in the market for a new digital camera... the one i have is to big .. i am looking for a smaller sleek camera that i can fit in the pocket type of thing.... any recommendations.... looking to spend $350-$450 and want at least 7mp thanks a lot guys

i know i love fishing the smaller lakes rather than the bigger ones.... you dont have to worry about weather conditions nearly as much!!!!!!

alright that pretty much what i was doing... guess i'll just keep pluggin away until i get confident in the bait!!!!!

well that's what i have heard about the horny toad, resulting in me buying about 6 packs in various colours.... i noticed when i am casting them out there however they tend to sink and sometimes turn over... is thos ok or should i be presenting them different??? i am rigging them weedless with a 5/0 wide gap hook or corkscrew hook... thanks for the info....

hey guys, a buddy and i went out to a small lake we know yesterday in hopes of catching a few buckets... 8) 8) i gave hime a trusty top water that i knew would be successful due to the conditions when we arrived.... about 2 mins after we started fishing the magic of the top water lure had begun.... here was a little guy to start him off a few casts later and the size increases a little!! and again it was about time i was thnking of putting on of those bad boys on... but i didn't.... i wanted to try out some new baits i had purchased... which i never ended up catching any fish on.... if anyone has any pointers of successful techniques used to fish horney toads (zoom) let me know!!! anyways there was about a 2 1/2 hour lull where nothin was caught....we had a little snooze on the boat and then i thought i would give it one last crack.... here are the results..... each of us with our double header pic!! and then i started to DOMINATE!!!! it was a great feeling..... i found a system that was working, stuck with it and it paid off.....all fish were released to catch another day!!!!!!!! hope you enjoyed the report!!!!!

hey thanks a lot smokey..... yea the lake trout would be great but not really in the mood to work hard lol lol i'm more than happy with the bass.... are there any weeds or pads on the lake.... oh yea, i'll be fishing out of a row boat....no motor!!!! baptiste probably has boat and motor rentals, how are the bass over there!!!!

yea i would really like to try a smaller lake aswell.... really avoid the crowds and really work the fish... all fish will be catch and release 100%.... jus wanna take a picture of the bigger girls and let them off ta swim type a thing.... to answer your question Stoty... i live in the mississauga area... just west of toronto.... any advice.... you have quite the bucket in your pic.... i got my PB last year on a small parry sound lake... just tipped the scales at 6lbs.... man i love bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hey guys what's going on well as all of you know bass opener is just around the corner.... less than 2 weeks away.... i'm really considering a smaller lake for opener this year and staying away from the more popular ones, a friend of mine and i actually have access to a boat with a 15 on the back.... i was looking for any recommendations and or advice, feel free to PM, i'm not asking for any fav spots by any means, jus wanna try somewhere new... i'm also considering Algonquin and just renting a canoe.... some advice for Algonquin would be much appreciated as i am going to be going there a lot this season.... smallies and buckets are both the target... i dont play favorites
