  1. Where can you even buy bear spray? I thought it was illegal to carry Pepper Spray, along with any other thing used in the protection of ones self?

Try your local gun/hunting shop. I know the gun shop in Hamilton sells it. Be prepared to pay out the :asshat: I have seen it for up to 30$ and it expires as well. The ones I have seen are pressurized to spray 15-20ft away but you only get 17 sprays out of it.

  2. cliff i know exactly how your feeling i finnaly got my first walleye of the year last night but it was only 5 inches or so just a tease :wallbash:

one thing i have never tried is bottom bouncers i will make sure i try them this long weekend

i will also try Erie Dearies

i am also catching TONS of big rock bass where i usually catch the eyes does this mean something? :dunno:

thanks so far for all the tips :thumbsup_anim:

If your consistently catching rock bass, move the eyes are not there.

  3. First you have to convince "Southern" urban voters, and their political majority that banning the spring hunt was a mistake. That won't happen until there have been some maulings close to home.

What he said. People let their guard down way too much with bears in my opinion. It is rare for them to attack but that is not to say they don't.

  4. I did my research, and in conclusion I would not recommend anything but a Weber or Napolean. DO NOT buy a bbq made in china no matter who makes it. Go into the store and compare a Weber to any other and the difference in price is very clear. There is other aspects to consider as well, like un-even heat distribution that the cheap bbq's are notorious for. If your looking at a Weber, I recommend the S320 Natural Gas. Mine is on order as we speak. Google Canadian Appliance, they are the cheapest around, by far.

  5. When I bought my Interstate deep cycle the guy at the marina said that Interstate specifically told them to leave the batteries in the boats for outdoor winter storage. I did so, and never had an issue. This year will be my 3rd year with the battery.
