  1. Looks great. What's the price range on those?
  2. Very we'll said... This message is sponsored by me lol!!
  3. Here is how I have the season ending, New York rangers 92 pts Detroit red wings 91pts -wildcard Columbus 90 pts -wildcard Cutoff Toronto 90 pts Washington 88 points Really need Columbus to play below .500 the rest of the year. Fingers crossed Toronto plays above .500
  4. This is very true, I think because of berniers demeanour he will be fine, but if they sneak into the playoffs they will most likely be against boston or Pittsburgh so I'm not very optimistic. Hey who knows maybe bernier is the horse they ride to the playoffs and Reimer is the one they ride during playoffs lol. If that happens I will take back everything negative I said about Reimer. Haha
  5. He is a bandwagon Ottawa fan so why not hop to any other team, lol
  6. There most definitely needs to be a change in the system they play or they need to play the system they are being taught. We can't be too sure which it is but I also agree you wouldn't get much for Reimer now, that's why I said that they should have traded him at the trade deadline paired with a one or two other players. He was the goalie that played so spectacularly against Boston in the playoffs so he had value, unfortunately that may be a distant memory now. They have been out played by the opposition and if not for bernier and the ridiculous unsustainable shooting percentage of our forwards our record would be a lot worse.
  7. Reimer faces the same shots danc and doesn't get the same save percentage or goals against average so I don't understand your point and bill I would suggest that if they trades reimer there would be a goalie coming back in return as well
  8. Come on man, 2 games. Every hall of fame goalie has had bad games, but very few have faced as many shots as bernier has in there first season and played this well in such a tough market. He is like 5th or 6th in save percentage in the league, wake up if you don't think he is the real deal. Mark my words now, 2018 bernier will be on team Canada. I say this after shooting 2500 pucks at goalies every day year after year for future pro goalie school. I know good goalies when I see them.
  9. Ya if they don't make it it doesn't look good. We have to remember they are one of the five youngest teams in the league. I would argue that if bozak, Bolland, and bernier weren't injured and gardiner and Reilly were a little further along in there development we would be in second place in our division consistently throughout the year. So I hope they don't get rid of Carlyle just yet. If next year they aren't doing well by mid season, then I would let him go.
  10. That's a bold statement when players are having personal best seasons.
  11. Amazing for your son, glad to hear that! You sound like a great hockey dad! As for the leafs though, when your backup loses the majority of the games he plays they would be better off with anyone there provided they get something useful in return for Reimer. I'm not defending Carlyle in anyway but maybe his treatment of Reimer was his way of giving nonis a hint to trade him. This is all speculation of course. But if we got a solid stay at home defenseman or improved at centre at the cost of trading Reimer I think we would be better off for it. Whether it's carlyles fault, the teams fault, or reimers fault what's done is done. Bernier is a stud in net, although unproven in playoffs in Toronto I feel like he can thrive in this tough to play in hockey market. That makes Reimer expendable in my opinion.
  12. Lmao.... I wish they would have traded him at the deadline as it seems his stock is declining. HOPE he bounces back.
  13. I could care less what leaf hype is, I don't understand your point. I'm saying that while bernier is in town Reimer will not be our number one so trade him. It is no one else's fault on the team that Reimer lets in soft goals. I'm not blaming him for our losing, I understand that is a team fault. I'm blaming him for his inability to save shots that any junior goalie I played with could save.
  14. Misfish ....no more fishing spots? In that case I agree with everything you say and am forever in your debt, now where should I fish? Lol
  15. y Ya he should have known better but what he said last week is not the reason Reimer has been under performing almost all year long
  16. I only blame a goalie when they let in soft goals. All I'm saying is he will never be number 1 in Toronto so let's trade him and get something useful for our team in return. I agree it should have been handled differently with the media but I don't think randy meant it the way it came out
  17. They rarely call that I find, need to drop that rule.
  18. I agree with your comment but I don't think he called him out, he was asked how he thought Reimer played and I'm sure he could have chosen better words but it was nothing really. He said okay, just okay, as in not terrible, but not great.
  19. First two were very soft, third one was a give away by Gleason, then a shot that tipped off of Gleason in, he didn't have a chance. Bad give aways but he still should have had them, he was off his angle for the second goal, and just failed to make a save on the first.
  20. Have a coach in you ear? He's a professional goalie, not a four year old. I'm in sales, when I don't sell I lose my job and my director is in my ear letting me know. Stop feeling sorry for him and start realizing that he is not playing like crap because of Carlyle, he's playing bad because he constantly lets in soft goals, he is his own worst enemy right now. He lost confidence when they brought in bernier, which as a professional he should have known was a possibility. If bringing in a new goalie has that big of an effect then he can't play in a hockey market like Toronto. I like Reimer and appreciate everything he has done for us but he needs to go, he can't track the puck, control rebounds, or hold a puck in his glove if he is even fortunate enough to get his glove in front of it. Just my opinion but that comment that he was just okay was blown out of proportion by a media guy. Carlyle didn't say it the way it was taken by the media or how it was portrayed by Reimer. That's my 2 cents anyway
  21. Really excited to see Gardiner playing well, seems to be coming into his own
  22. I would rather take gunnarsom,Riley, and Phaneuf and maybe even gardiner or gleason over Markov so I would say montreals is worse, they just have a better goalie to bail them out
  23. Love seeing Bolland back, a couple of great hits so far!
