Welcome home Sis good to see you are alive and well.

Here might be the answer but the price makes it as cheap to put another transducer on the boat.

It is my hope that if you oppose these fish that you do not purchase them or support business that sell them. Since after all it is being done just for the profit....
A faster growing fish will enable product to be brought to market quicker with less resources sounds like a win for all of us. If by chance they do escape and they are fertile it will have all of the natural enemies and mortality of the native species it is not like the Asian Carp. Please don't turn this into the Carp argument it will only get locked.

Here is a link to infisherman.comThey have hours of articles and videos to give you the how to's you are asking for. I am not associated with them but wish they would be a sponsor for the OFC here.

When I installed my electric bow mount in the mid-ninties I used regular outdoor wire from Home Depot and ran it under the floor from the stern to the bow. I had the boat up last year and it never gave me a problem.
Luckily Alumicraft had ran ABS pipe from stern to bow so it made running the wire a little easier. That and two extra circuits pre-wired at the bow were a nice touch.
All marine wires to code must be stranded the sold wire for houses is a no no it can start a fire and will break at the connections from vibration and stress. That said it looks like you have had some success though for the past 10 plus years.

I got to agree with Roy...It is kind of like the factory smoke they put in all electronics once it gets out the unit is toast. However taking it apart to see whats inside is a worthwhile project with a beer in hand.

Up here our football fields are 150 yards long, and 110 yards from goal post to goal post.
Thats one of the reasons we did not go metric...our athletes complained about how much harder it was running that extra distance.

Guess were froze over too
I hear the rant Paul it gets awful hot not only contending with the engine heat but the sun and all. If it helps it was 97 D F here today on the blacktop.

While this is a different type of fishing Surfcasting competitions are won with baitcasters going over 100 yards or the length of a football field. I use only baitcasters on 9ft rods with 8 oz of lead and 6 oz of bait a 75 yard cast is average on a hard cast.

I usually direct tie soft baits and spinners. The crank baits I sometimes use a swivel or just load up 4 or 5 different rods with lures.

If you can't get a cover that will not puddle then it would be better to tarp it with supports that will not let snow collect. I have the cover you mentioned and while it is a nice cover it does puddle water but since it is stored in a garage it does not matter for me.

As to you my new friend I apologize for judging you a Racist (used incorrectly by the way) before taking the time to really talk to you as we have done in p.m.'s. A Pepsi Sugar free and a hearty handshake is waiting for you at Lak Air if you get up their for the G2G. If you also get a chance to come to the Washington D.C. area we can fish for the monstrous Potomac River Carp or I can turn you into a Blue Catfish fan which ever you prefer.

If you have any of the high end stereo shops that put in those obnoxious auto radio systems they will have all of the electrical parts in stock for you.
They do make a bladed one time fuse that works well and might be easily available (carry a spare just in case.

One of the best things about living on the coastal area is the variety of fish we have in both saltwater and fresh.I was bass fishing Saturday and the saltwater has come up so far in the Potomac their were people catching crabs right next to me.

Channel cats are the number one table fare here at the farm. The 3-5 lbers are sweet and clean with a good texture that few other fish can match.

While it makes me sad I find it comforting that a family of five will eat for a few days if they are truly hungry.

It is worth a try but I would expect that if the tanks are at different levels or different length of hose it would suck the lower/ closer one dry faster and then suck air before draining the other tank. The equalizer tube on a two tank system is located at the bottom between the tanks. With this said if Lews boat is set up without a equalizer tube or special piping then you are golden.
