Im jealous! beauty fish.

its hit or miss at best right now, water is way low and really clear. Tons of guys.

tents will work get yourself some spikes to twist into the ice. If its windy the tent can be a real pain to set up. dont get a 6" power its too small. get a 8" its best all aound.

Started fishing again as the salmon run tapered off. Hot weather has been a bit of a pain. But we managed to have a decent night. after a night of nothing, and not seeing anything caught we thought we would wait for a cooler night. we headed down at about 430. each of us getting 2 fish by 7 and missing a couple. mine were small 5.5 and about 3. my buddies 7.5 and 4. unfortunatly we had to keep 2. only 3 pics wanted to get the other fish back in asap. saw a few more fish getting caught mostly on metal but I didnt have the casting rod maybe another day. I love my Abu 6500, awsome casting reel. wicked bait runner might be a bit big for what you want. The 5601AB is sweet! but $$$.

Ive been fishing the Notty from wasaga to Angus for about 14 years and this has been the worst year by far. the river is very low and very clear. The fish have been running for over a month now. The run was small this year and the size of fish was very poor. The winning salmon in both Angus and Wasaga's derby was under 10lbs!!!! I rarely have ever caught a fish under 10 in the notty. I was there this weekend, no one was catching and there were very few fish in the river. Please remember if you come up to fish take your garbage, its disgusting what ppl leave

maureen, Im from collingwood area so these cats are local to you so to speak, great fighters and fairly simple to catch.
