  1. Strong....but probably accurate. I see nothing offensive in his post. As a matter of fact it strikes me as positive as he suggests educating those who are unaware of our limits perhaps due to a language/cultural barrier.

    yes and no.

suggesting to educate the masses (not simply certain anglers based on their culture/language) is great.

Making assumptions of catch and release habbits based on a groups race... not great.

im done with this one. dont want to open that can a worms!

  2. No its called a float tube. Weighs about 5 lbs, my waders fins and camping equipment plus food are all carried in or strapped to one back pack. Can carry enough stuff to last a week. I wouldnt go that hardcore for anything less than 5 days. We park at designated parking areas after unloading all the gear. One person stays with the gear other person parks and bikes back were we lock bike up to a tree. Works great.

    ahh i c....

    very nice

  3. Yep this is what I feel no motorized access. Ive humped 30k through the bush to get on some flyin only type places with no access. Anywhere you can drive to Yahoos are sure to follow. That said the no fishing regs that Jocko talked about are pure crap. If some can fish there all should be able to fish there.

so you and your boys strap a canoe to your back and hike 30K up the logging roads?

how long does that take ya?

AND do you just park your car at the mouth of the private road?

  4. beauty lake, lots of open water in the middle, and the wind can pick up there.

i have only ever fished Bark lake for Smallmouth. Did great workin the mouth of the river coming into the lake and workin humps along the main basin in about 35ft of water.

depending on the weather/conditions you should be able to find em with the help of some electronics OR a good topo map

  5. awesome resort, great bunch of guys workin there!

check out the basement of the main lodge when your there, prolly about $1000 worth of empties used to make walls, furniture, etc! lol

the main lake was awful while we were there! NADA! funny enough we heard countless stories of guys walkin outta the lake with garbage bags full of walters! love those stupid stories, wanna give guys a shake when i hear them!!

the backlakes are where it is at when visiting Auld Reekie!!

They have a bass lake which still stands as my fav bass lake all time, cant remember the name of the lake but it could be elkhorne?!

they had another lake for walleye and pike that rocked! near the main lodge, you portage through a river to get in.
