Hey guys thinking of going and fishing the holland river just below bridge st (hwy 11) or down river at the metal barrier where the river T's off. Any experience fishing there or has anyone heard stories of people catching and fishing it during the hardwater season? Thanks

Thanks for the tips guys, it was Definatly fun using it in the hut, once I went outside to fish it was tuff to use due to line freezing and the line not sliding through the float. Fun day

Hey guys going to try a method that I have never tried before. Slip floats for lakers. Here's my question; should I use split shot with a hook below and a minnow or do you find a jig head with a minnow work better. Hoping to catch something trying out this new tactic. Any info is good info! Thanks

I have a navionics chip in my elite 5x, some times it will show the depth contours and details and other times it will just show the shape of the lake and blue for water, any ideas what the issue is?

Yea it's been tough for me after dark, I'm having trouble locating them

I get them deep during the day and can't find them after sunset. So they move into weeds or cover in shallower water?

Hey guys I've been doing quite a bit crappie ice fishing the past couple season and have been doing well during the daytime, when the sun goes down the crappie disappear, they usually hold in a deep basin suspended over 20fow, when it gets dark there gone. I've checked nearby weedlines and humps but can't seem to find them. Any tips for finding them after dark
