  1. Fish Kincardine derby, extra long weekend sat to sat.
  2. Excellent choice very versatile
  3. I'll second that, when we first moved to goderich the neighbors behind us had two mastiffs that would bark, growl and carry on non stop, it got to be quit an annoyance not being able to use our yard in peace. bought a couple of super soakers and problem solved, the interesting part is after being sprayed a few times and no squirt guns needed until we sold the house two yeas later.
  4. Most of the time at 50 down we run out 20ft, as far as flashers go run the flasher off of your flouro lead, and then a lead from the flasher to fly or spoon that is about 2x the flasher length, Also imo you can save yourself alot of headache by just running 15# to 20# power pro with no flouro lead, we have experimented with the flour leads, mono leads and no leads over the last three yrs rigging and have found no difference in catch rates from one to the other, unless you are running real shallow. hope this helps
  5. I use 15# ande as my backing, then lead and a 30ft flouro leader, micro swivels to attach it all together.
  6. The car goes about 120km round trip to work, unfortunatly all the kids and dog don't fit in it, so the durango is driven more often, The durango gets about 10mpg in town and around 20-23 mpg on the hwy, the funny thing is even when towing the boat I still get about the same milage in the durango.
  7. Fill up car, set trip meter to 0, run car until low fuel light comes on, read trip meter, fill up car again.
  8. 07 toyota yaris 5spd 900kms per tank or around 49-52 mpg.
  9. Here's Libby best fishing partner anyone copuld ask for.
  10. Nice healthy looking fish, were you running the core off boards?
  11. Just started using them last year, bass pro has a good kit to get started with, I found I mostly ended up using a one pound weight with a 30ft lead, run with a spin doc or a dodger in the mud can produce some decent lakers on an otherwise slow day.
  12. Excellent, mine goes in tommorrow
  13. Stone fly hatch was very late here this year, I only began to see numbers of them this week, last week fish were sipping something off the surface in good number, I assume it was stone flys, from my fishing log everything seems a bit later this year.
  14. I have been looking for years, maybe this year, on the topic of snakes two years ago on the maitland we had an explosion of the population of queen snakes, from what I have read they are quite rare in this river. hope the pics worked
