  1. We need the jobs here but not all this Bull,

CAW/UAW Big bosses got what they wanted at the expense of the business.

The management never stood up to the union or built things the customer needed.

Just stop telling me.. to big to fail. Must give us money, must give us a pension.

I feel for the worker but thats life.. deal with it like the rest of us.

If one goes bankrupt it will be better for the rest, stop allowing all the cars from other places to come into NA.. Make at least 50% built in NA at a normal wage. Get rid of the union. Problem solved.

  2. but Ginny's about to pop. I'm talking the baby could come any time now and it's a 2 hour drive to the hospital in Oakville (don't ask ) from our house. So the 45min drive back home from Dunnville to pick up a wife who's in labor just isn't isn't in the cards for me this weekend.

LOL, some people will use any excuse. Good luck with your wife :)

  3. Love the info guys..

I would say if you have the time and energy build it yourself.(meaning using a contractor etc to do the work and a GC to supervise)

If your not a hands on type of person. Checking the site, reviewing the bills etc. Buy from a builder.

One reason I say this is I have seen people who don't monitor what is going on tend to go over budget big time.. Once you start its hard to stop half way.

Your contractor and GC work for you.. not the otherway around. There are lots of A+++ people out there these people will only bid on the job if they can committ... Chances are you have too book well in advance..

Then there are the others, bid on any job and reap it for all its worth.

    Good luck

  4. They have done this numerous times this year. This time the officer decides to throw a life jacket / safety charge at them. Kind of funny but not really nice.

Pull a sled in Boat tips over.. Guess the Sleds can't really stop to help out :(

If they did this numerous times they should have had at least life jackets.. Cops have feelings too when they pull dead people from the lake :dunno:

  5. No that I really think the money is the issue, but would you want a guy making $50 an hour resposible for a nuc plant?

You always want the best person for the job, now do the rest of the employee's need to make over a 100,000 changing light bulbs in the office... thats where your waste comes from.

    Power workes union did that.

    Go green :)

  6. Look inside the drivers side kick panel. That would be my first stop.

It's possible that it is taped up in the harness under the dash as well.

I have often used T Taps and gone directly to the brake switch as well.

I just looked up T Taps and gone directly to the brake switch as well.. I might just go this way if all fails

    thanks for the info

  7. The book said to tap the cable that comes of the brake switch.. too power the controller when the brakes are applied.

There is suppose to be a cable there but I have no idea where it is.. Everything I have read says if you have the Tow package the cable is located near the emergancy brake. Since I don't have the tow package there is no connector.

I am ready just too tap the break cable but everyone said not too use the cable provided but darn if I can find it.

  8. Ok normally when I need help I check everywhere first and find the correct answear. but this one I am stumped.

I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota 4x4 extended cab (WITH NO towing package) and I am hooking up a brake controller..

Everything has gone excellent. I am down too the last part hooking up the one cable too the brake controller everything else is up and running..

Sure you say the cable should be ........ ????

I have checked the internet, lots of information but nothing I can find about my truck.

Checked with Action Van and truck world, they told me where it might be I checked it was not there. But book an appotment and they will complete it.

checked with the dealer. No idea but we can do it for $250.00

Everyone had a differnt idea where it might be but I still can't seem to find it.

I really do not want to head into service too hook up one small wire,

~ I have checked above the emergancy brake but because I don't have the tow package its not there.

~ I have checked under the centre console but there is no white/blue cable there.

The only option I have is to cut the brake cable and splice but the inforamtion that I read said there is a cable for just such a thing.. Ok then where is it???

    Thanks
