  2. Oh there are so many TJ! Big Bass Mega Bass on Big Rideau is definitely one! Quinte Bass Champs on opening weekend is another! The Nosbonsing Pike, North GTA Pike on Balsam Lake, Muskoka Pike & all of the Top 50 Pike events are great pike events. Down on Lake St. Clair, there's the Mitchell's Bay Open and this year there's the NEW VEXUS Open which should be great! The Mark McKeown Memorial Perch Tournamnet on lake Simcoe is a lot of fun! I can send you a whole list TJ, don't make me choose I love them all! 😄😄😄

Ive missed getting the long rods out for some surf fishing nothing like watching 4 rods go off at the same time and never knowing what will be on anyone of them

That is the cool thing about saltwater fishing is you never know what you're going to get!!!!😶

Fishing the shallow flats can be very exciting, As I am sure you well know, there's quite a variety, from bone fish to barracuda. All awesome scrappers.

Oh, my friends down there remind me of that all the time! Would mind some Tarpon action at some point too! Like I say "So many fish, so little time!"

Was in Largo Fla last week and stopped by some old shoreline spots to check in with locals and all were the same , everything but tiny trout completely shut down. Wish I was still down there too. Miss the grouper sandwiches.

Next time, I want to try some more saltwater fishing as well! So many fish so little time! 😁😁😁

Im running the website for the tourney... there's gonna be alot more sponsor's shortly. and our Airbnb is open that weekend.. lol

They will have a live scoresheet that day as well.  still room in the first heat.  I am VERY confident they will get their 200 teams.

Oh, I'm sure that they will! Huge event, I'll check the dates and see if I can make it!

  7. Managed to sneak away for a little bass fishing down in Florida! Anyone who been down there knows how inconsistent the weather has been all winter! We had morning where it was 6-7 degrees C and we had days where the wind was gusting to 70-80 kph! Needless to say Florida bass don’t like those conditions but we made the best of it and managed some good fish! Got to fish with a bunch of great dudes down there as well! Enjoy the pics!

  8. Hey Rick,

You can go to www.fishdonkey.com and register for an account and then you can view the current up to date standings! You don't have to register for the event just an account. Currently there are a few 14.5" and the current leader for 5 fish is at 69.25"

Wondering if anyone around Lake Simcoe or has visited there recently can tell me if ice is out?  Would love to get out on the boat soon and try my luck getting into some jumbos.

Haven't checked yet but I'm pretty sure that the ice is not out yet! But next week is gonna put a hurting on it!
