  1. Been there, done that, all that work deserves a couple ooohs and ahhhhs! So ooooh and ahhhh :D

Mine was a straight gable roof. Staight run with a ridge vent.........pretty simple compared to yours, and i thought doing mine stunk. lol Feels good to pull up the driveway everyday dont it?? Nice choice on the architectural shingle

  2. keep the broken lure...if you break more complain again....might get luckier second time around...

I think this is a good way to look at it, one broken rapala shouldnt get this much attention. If it happens twiice, then i think you go back with an e-mail...........sayin what gives.

I also agree that these things should be able to take some abuse aside from just swimming them suspended through the water column.

Im on the fence with this one i guess.......i think rapala handled it as i would expect. If it happened again and they werent willing to listen and compromise a bit.......then id be a little disappointed. , but i can almost gaurantee you cant go the rest of your days without picking up another rapala LOL :D

  3. They spent $3.00 to send this broken lure back to me. Why not just mail a letter for a few cents? The broken Rapala is no good to me. So, if they're going to spend the coin to mail a lure, why not send a new one, that probably costs them less to manufacture than the postage they spent to mail me back the broken one. To me, this would prove they value their customers.

To me, that was a slap in the face. Time to look for a new favorite crankbait company .....

They sent it back because it is your property.........you paid for it and they arent just going to chuck it in the garbage can.... for fear of some sort of trivial lawsuit. They have to send it back to you. Iff they dont send back broken merchandise to the owner, im sure there would be a fuss along the lines of......"HEY , wheres my lure then that i sent you if you arent going to give me a new one. I could have at least glued the one i broke."

  4. So sorry to hear of such bad news. My prayers go out to you and anyone close to your sister.

I lost my mother when she was the same age just as suddenly.........and these youthful passings like this out of nowhere add so much more grief to an already difficult thing to deal with.

  5. artificial insemination, 99% of the births are caesarian, relatively small litters... for the most part, you're hopefully paying for a responsible breeder...

typically the high price tag is just the start too.. i'm sure Chrispy can attest to some of the health probs they're prone to.. even though he's not good with the heat, snores louder than Ted & The Gadget, and is more subborn than my mother in law, i'll never own another breed..

They are wonderful animals, my buddy had 2 or 3 of them. He even mentioned at one time starting to breed them. But i think he realized the only thing telling him to do so was the money he thought hed make doing it, and after some thought, and a little birdie (myself) telling him he didnt know the first thing about breeding .........he dropped the idea lol

  6. i do agree though, they certainly get the adrenaline going when they are digging hard toward the bottom and you imagine what you may have hooked into. But i will say that it is disappointing to say the least when i see that silver flash coming up to the boat. It is funny hearing it every time it happens...........Ahhhhhhhhh! Its just a flippin sheephead!!!!!!!
