I could be wrong but I think that is a tiger Muskie or juvenile Muskie....maybe someone can clarify. Great catch!!
You really should try using Google. ....sorry, could not resist. Rounded tail and fins are a pretty good indicator.....along with the tiger pattern on the cheeks and sides. Similar to this one.

Fantastic shots Simon, beautiful place you've got on the other side of the "pond". The architecture and food look amazing. Those walleyes aren't so bad either.

Great trip and report!

Mike is the encyclopedia Britanica when it comes to info on Lakes in NW Ontario.
Ain't that the truth!!
Looks like an awesome trip with some fantastic fishing, love the brook trout surprise!! Thanks for the report!

For expansion Fishnsled. He also told me to drill the holes a little larger than the size of the bolts I use for expansion. I used 2 1/2" x 1/4" stainless flat head 1 flat washer and a nylon stainless locking nut, and used a 1/4" drill bit, & a 1/2" bit to counter sink the head. I't didn't seem to move the other day when I was out and it was in the sun all day. It may expand a bit but I didn't see it. Could be because cutting it 4'
Thanks for the input.

wow, another lake on my list
thanks for sharing
X 2 I'll just keep following the trail that Mike leaves behind. lol!
is it just me or does it look like a big pike painted on there 2 thirds of the way down in the middle.....
I thought so as well.
Just another stellar report Mike. Thanks for taking the time.

Great idea. Just wondering it there is a reason cutting the material in 4ft lengths as to going the full 8ft length and one solid piece on the bunk?

Compare what else you can get for 15k (especially in the used market) and I doubt anyone would pay that for this boat. Regardless of the accessories attached, it's still 24yrs old.... I'd expect closer to 10k.
I feel for ya, bud!
The problem you face is none of this is over-the-counter new. The ETEC is worth about $7500-$8000, Merc $2500-$2800, Terrova $900-$1100... we've already chiseled you down to $11,900 on power.
You're taking a bath on depreciation and taxes just because this stuff doesn't ring through a cash register. It sucks but I really think that's the way it is.
I don't think anybody can question the value in this package and I'm just throwing out numbers off the top of my head, so keep that in mind. I just don't think that finding the right buyer will come easily.
You might do a lot better by finding a suitable used engine to match the vintage of the hull and sell the power items/electronics separately.
Can I ask why you're selling it? I've seen it on the MCI forum and you've done a great job!
I'd say these guys are pretty much in line with a 10-12K price. The older haul is the killer but a coat of paint and you never know what will happen. Can always start off at 15K and come down from there. It certainly sucks after all the money you put into her. You might do better at parting it out.

Sweet ride Terry!!!

Awesome photos and report Joey.

If Road Gravy is still on hiatus and you're still looking check out Thoze Guyz. My buddy Ed plays guitar and sings, and they do Brown Eyed Girl and Learn to Fly as well but know many others too. LOL! .

Great report Brian!! Nice to see these mini g2g's take place.

Whatever! Lol. I picked the lake that day so I think that disqualifies him for being a guide. Lol
LOL!! You're actually 2 for 2 when picking the lakes this year. Might have to change your name to Carnac The Magnificent!!
looks like you had a great day. I was out with a buddy but we couldn't get into much decent fish. just two smallies throughout the day weighing 1.5 and 2lbs. Tons of rock bass tho, they seemed to be EVERYWHERE!
We found lots of rockbass (aka W.G.S.F.), some big ones too, perch and bluegills as well. It was a great day on the water with good numbers, decent size and variety.

Awesome report Ryan!! Great to see the kids out and enjoying our passion.

Great news Mike!! A big thank you to Danna and yourself for taking this on and making it the success that it is.

I guess those big in-land browns and that real nice bow you caught last spring doesn't count either then eh buddy!?!? lol Once again great report guys!!!
It was a guided trip that I paid for and to which the funds went to a great cause. So ya, technically not my fish but I really didn't care. They sure were a treat on the BBQ.

I know you know brutha!

Will... ya kinda got schooled by the Hobbit this time. I mean, ya got some nice bass but Cliff kinda went ape on the overall species count.
Fun times guys!
After fishing the Kawarthas for over 25 years and my knowledge of these waters, it's like I'm guiding him. So do they really count as his fish??
Cliff certainly had a long over do great bass and multi-species day and I salute you! We both did very well but I could only get the bass to look at my baits. Going to go and clear out the local tackle stores of the hot bait that Cliff was using and hope he loses the one he had and can't replace it. Thanks for doing up the report Cliff and we'll do it again soon! Shall it be more bassin' or some shiny silver fish from the big water?

Looking good! Keep posting pics of the progress.

I'm looking forward to the report!! VERY nice gesture Dave! Have a fantastic day!

I've caught a couple of rod and reel combos, cleaned them up and gave them to kids. 2 largemouth on a topwater. Couple of landing nets. Seagull who cooperated quite nicely and once released, turned and bit me. It was the one they grabbed the damn bait! lol. Most interesting catch was a bikini top.

Enjoy the new engine! Or is the motor???

Incredible as always Drew!! Good on ya for stopping in on the kids. Who knows how positive that was and what that influence that will have to those kids down the road. Great stuff!!
