had a great summer, got to do a lot of fishing in a rock quarry so i got pretty spoiled, but still got some decent fish back at my parents in the kawarthas. CANT WAIT to get out on kempenfelt for some late season smallies! 5lb smallie from shore. 4lb largie these bottom 3 are the same 6lb HOG

I grew up on pigeon, actually got out last weekend from the parents place but got skunked, I went up by the south east end of boyd island. But I've heard good things coming from further south on the lake this year, just north of the 2 big sand beds. I've had some strange encounters with some by my parents house as well, east side of the lake by cadigans camp where that big rice bed is. its shallower and loggy and I've hooked into some there and seen even bigger ones (once had one following me while I was snorkeling) good luck!

moved to Barrie not too long ago and been just fishing Little lake and kempenfelt a little bit but no luck. got a buddy coming down with a boat and was curious about some good areas to go for smallies and maybe walleye, I would assume I need to get out of kempenfelt. any tips about fishing on simcoe would be great! (of course, im not asking for anyones favourite spots, just some tips for a new kid in town)

Hi, some friends and I are planning a camping/canoe trip up to the magnetawan river for the first weekend of October. looking to get some walleye fishing in while we're up there. we're starting at Harris Lake and doing a circuit over the weekend. any tips on what to use up there? was just gonna go with some soft plastic twist tail baits and bring a few rapalas for fishing later at night off shore. also, what else is up there to catch? I would love to get into some rainbow trout.
