  1. As far as I can tell, the entire media machine seems to be challenged by reading comprehension.

The pilots did not warn every 1.7 seconds for 17 seconds at the exact same time the Russians flew at stall speed. The transcript of just one warning takes almost 17 seconds to read.

Earlier reports indicate warnings took place over several minutes, starting on approach, prior to the planes entering Turkey.

One guy did the math wrong and now the entire internet is on a 17 second conspiracy theory. Its actually a good example of groupthink overriding common sense.

The media spin is on both sides, of course nato sides with turkey and russian pilot says they received zero warning lol

  2. I don't think so, NATO has sided with Turkey and it looks like Turkey has proof and have covered their butts.

Russia ( and the US) have been pushing the envelope with a lot of people for quite a while now, it's almost as if they are trying to push "someone" into starting something that they can "react" to so they can claim "they started it!"

Watch the flight patterns(not sure how reliable they are?)

And listen to what turkey says, "warned 10 times and violated airapace for 17 seconds)

That means the russians plane, if you do the math, was travelling at 255kmp/h

Russia says it received no warning.

And previously turkey has said violation of airspace is not an reason for immediate downing of a plane/jet.

    ??????

  3. Funny story, somewhat relevant.

It was good weather on a winter weekend and there were lots of boats drifting the Niagara Bar. In my infinite wisdom, I threw the anchor out and we held on the break coming up the bar. We were catching fish, but with everyone else drifting in that super fast current, paying attention to their rods, and us stationary, it was like bumper cars out there. We had some laughs that day.

This reminds me of spring walleye fishing the river.

No we dont have that traffic...

But you get right into fishing then get smashed by huge ice chunks comin with the current lol

  5. While you may think they have some redeeming qualities, and that may be true, they were almost universally recognized by their own people to be cruel despots. They sponsored terrorism, kidnapped, tortured and murder political opposition, and stole from their nation to enrich themselves.

By that measure at least, they were horrible.

You just described the west to a t, thank you?

  6.

Not to mention the other Tyrants they overthrew (or helped overthrow) in various other places such as Libya. Unfortunately, some of these tyrants were the reason worse people weren't in power to begin with...they weren't very nice people but they had the bad assess under control.

You know, at one point I was CONvinced these leaders were so horrible.

But once you look into it deeper, youll find its rarely the case.

One thing they all have in common is they speak truth and condemn israel and the US

Then poof, they are dead or their countries are invaded unjustly

  7. Don't blame the US for being attacked on 9/11........

YES, you are correct........leave them all THERE..........there are many other VERY WEALTHY Arab countries to take these refuges in, so why are they heading here.

BTW Obama already said that ISIS is contained, so then it's safe for them to stay there ! ! !

Yeah last week, now he says they are a world wide threat lol.

  8. I love these replies guys! I'm getting some great ideas.

And the guiding company from Colingwood called me to set up some training and orientation.

Plus a random company saw my resume online and contacted me for an interview today. What are the odds eh!
