Hello, im Dave, i own and operate both Ed's Bait and Angler's Choice. With Angler's Choice we manufacture, wholesale and retail a variety of lures, mainly hand made soft plastics. We have a heavy concentration on bass products, we are branching out to walleye, panfish and trout. we are also getting into trolling spoons, weight forward spinners and crawler harnesses as well, all hand crafted and made in Canada! We have been manufacturing and wholesaling Hand Made soft plastics for the past 3 years.

Ed's Bait is perhaps Chatham-Kent's longest running bait and tackle shop. Started in 1948 by Ed Rose of Wallaceburg, they started out supplying live bait and worms to the fishermen around the area. After Ed's passing the business was run by his wife and son Jamie Rose. I purchased the business in February of 2011 from Jamie Rose to ensure this historic business i grew up frequenting would remain a Wallaceburg hallmark. We offer Live Bait (emerald shiners mainly) Night Crawlers, Wax Worms and Spikes (during the winter months), tackle of all sorts, rods, reels etc. We are an Authorized retailer for Shimano, Power Pro, Okuma, St Croix, Abu Garcia, Berkley, Tuff Line, P-line, Yum, Big Eye Custom Lures, CL Fishin, Strike King, Live Target, Ego Nets, Mustad, Eagle Claw, Owner, Salus Marine Wear, Strike Master, Eskimo, Rapala, Frabill and many more. We are also an MNR Authorized Hunting and Fishing Licence issuer.
