  1. In my opinion it comes down to this. Closing boat ramps is one less burden on the manpower needed to police the waterways. Also if you need to be rescued while on the water for whatever reason it is much harder to get to you than someone walking a dog on the sidewalk. Let's give up our leisure activities for a while, wait this out and save some lives.

  2. Parts for oil bath hubs are harder to find locally here. Regular grease hubs no problem. I gave up looking and ordered the correct parts online from ez-loader.com.

     

    I remember using my trailer serial/model # to get the right size seals and races.

  3. Not wanting to flog a dead horse here - but I unplug mine because I have kids around and don't want them accidentally turning on the motor. Even when done charging it's unplugged till I'm on the water. With me it's just a safety thing. Hell, I might even hit the pedal myself when it's in the garage!

    I do the same with my riggers, unplug them when on land. I learned that one the hard way. Don't ask.
