Nice pile of fish there V! Too bad there wasn't 3 feet of snow on the ground to make it fun.

Here is a shot I got of a bunch of herring under my ice hole in 2009. I'd think they are starting to make a comeback. First time I had seen a school like that was last year.

There is lots of crown land around Chandos if you want to do the camping thing. Your right about the Smallies - if you can find them.
