thanks for the replys. I have a little 12 foot tin boat so i guess that could help me out a little as i won't be restricted to fishing from shore. I will definately be looking forward to ice fishing this winter and hazelwood sounds like a good place to start. thanks again for the info. kyle

I was just wondering if anyone on the board has fished much up around the thunder bay area i just moved up here for college and i was looking to find some walleye hotspots. I don't really have alot of time due to a heavy course load otherwise i would figure it out for myself. so if you have any info feel free to share thanks.

does anyone know off hand if you restricted avaiation radio operators licence covers you for a vhf in a boat aswell?

man stick baits are not only good for pike and such. i use all sorts of different stick baits all spring in lake o for kings, coho's, browns and bows. if you were really that concerned about it you should have just gone and asked them before getting all uptight and calling the co's about it.

i have a 2hp jiffy white lightning 9" awesome auger it will out run my cousins model 30 any day. it's prob 4 years old and still starts first or second pull. i have never done anything to it in the way of work. just gas and go.

lt's are definatly worth the extra money if you are doing anything except driving back and forth to work you cant go wrong. i have lt's on my 4runner despite the tire guy telling me i should get passenger tires the ride is a little rougher but it can be tolerated for the added strenght of the tire on and off road.

The best bang for your buck is definatly the abu garcia cardinal 100. they are small, light, great quality and they will only run you like 40 bucks.
