The Ducks are giving the young guy, John Gibson, a chance to tonight against the Canucks. "The 20-year-old is in his first full AHL season and has gone 21-17-4 with a 2.34 GAA and .919 SV%. He was a second-round pick (39th overall) in 2011 and is believed to be one of the best goaltending prospects in the NHL right now."

Lupul has to have knee surgery.. hope its nothing TOO serious and won't have any impact on his career. This guy needs break jeez. I've heard multiple rumors of Kessel being a really mouthy individual, didn't think he'd speak to his captain in that manner though. (Who knows what Phaneuf said?)

it won't make much of a difference. such a small percentage of crimes committed where such vehicles will be needed.. just sort of perpetuates the progression of professional criminals. always a few steps a head. -

ouch, seems like the leafs got a few fans hopes up again, i actually feel bad for you guys Phaneuf was much better when he played 20mins a game, didn't have "C" and actually fought a couple people. Sure he has a hard shot, but he never hits the net, and nobody wants to screen the goalie because his shot is so unpredictable. He was a much better player on Calgary where he was given room to make the mistakes.. Also, Lupul is too injury prone to wear the "C", he may make a great captain, but the guy plays half seasons and is one hit away from having back surgery again.. Gonna be a tough turn around with these "core" guys locked down for 6-8 years..
