I am heading out on pigeon lake tomorrow around 630 the guy coming with just bailed. I will only be out to around 230 as I have a barbq to go to any one looking to get out.

We bought a cottage type thing on this lake up near kaladar last feb. this was the first weekend we didn't have a ton of work to do so we got out for some fishing Saturday evening and Sunday morning we didn't have to go far from the creek the cottage is on when we were on the fish. With the my nephew and daughter useing just worms she is 11 and he is 3 they caught a ton of small bass and the biggest rock bass I have ever seen . The nephew caught his first fish ever with his lighting McQueen fishing pole (from the movie cars) as we moved along we started find less fish but bigger were out till about 930 and had a great time

Sunday morning was more of the same was catching fish in about the 2pound range considering we only hit a couple of spots this lake shoud produce some quality fish the only problem was the launch when I went to leave I sunk up to my axle about half way out. Any one have a dozen patio slabs they don't need for the next time

There is a place in Peterborough I think it is a chain called "overdrive" they were cheaper then van and truck world by quite a bit

Well today I got to go shark fishing in the bay of fundy it was quite a rush we had 3 on the boat plus 2crew. We caught 3 in total 1got off right away the other 2 we had a good fight well not really a fight it was more like I am going this way and you are coming with me. The first one got off after only a few min ran right into the prop and it was gone it was about 6 to 7 ft according to the biologist on board . The second the other lad on the boat just a young guy but seemed like he knew his stuff he was from niagra area and fished for samon got a crack at he fought it for a bit till he was tired and then I took over it ran out about a 1/4 mile and I dragged him back in after maybe 15 min or so got it up to the boat it swam to the back and rightnintomthe prop again and gone. Wow u wouldn't believe the power these things had on trip I won't soon forget. There was some video taken if they email it to me I will post it up

Staying at Emily provinal park for the Canada day long weekend saerday evening fishing was fair caught a few on some of my favorite spots Sunday morning was only out for a few hrs moved a lot of fish and had a few real good hits but couldn't keep them on the line. Will try again in the morning before we pack up

I am in the market for a new day pack that I can use when hiking and in the fall when hunting. I have a 100 dollar gift card for bass pro that I would like to use but bass pro is a hour and a half away so by the time I drive up there my 100 bucks is more like 50 with gas. I have been looking on the bass pro site and have seen 2 that I like one is a bit big I think its a "ascend ms 3300" the other is " ascend 3000dx" seems like it would fit the bill wondering if anyone had any suggestions I would like one with a frame of some kind the would keep the cargo from digging in my back

Does the zodiac have a solid floor? If not I would place a piece of plywood that extended off the back of the tailgate to support it.

In case your wondering I am 40 and have a 17 foot crest liner have only been fishing for a couple years so still have a lot to learn so can't promise any fish

I tow my 1750 crest liner not sure of the weight of it but would think it would be over 2 with fuel with are 2002 caravn 3.3 liter all the time when we camp I use the truck to launch it.

Asking this for a friend we were out on the bay of quinti on the weekend and his trolling motor battery's died so we were trying to troll with his 90 mercury witch was to fast he put out the drift sock witch got us slow enough but then found he couldn't steer. We had the drift sock straight out behind the boat how do you guys rig up a drift sock to slow down

We fished west of the big bridge by telegraph narrows a lot of traffic only managed 2 most people we talked to said it was hard going a lot of people went home empty handed

If the trailer is 9000 lbs you can figure about 1500 more for gear and anything that has Been added to the trailer including propane then there is any extra passengers. I had a older f150 pulling 5500 pounds it was under the legal amount the truck could pull but didn't feel like it was that safe have since upgraded to the f250. Your over loaded and that makes it unsafe will also take years off your truck

i have been told the marine plywwood isnt worth the money when i did the floor in my creastliner i sealed it primed it and painted it and carpeted it. the way i see it the boat was 8 years old and the marine plywood didnt last/

i have had a couple late 60s omc products that ran well but you can never tell when something may go wrong. i just bought a snow machine ran fine fair compression took it for a ride worked good second ride 5 km in took a piston out one can never tell. if the price is right keep your 9.9 as a spare
