I heard on the weekend that the leafs were looking at him. Yes or no? Should they ?
no. he'll be way too expensive for what he is (primarily an offensive dman). he's not what this armchair GM says they need. if they want to throw around the kind of money he will be asking for, they should pursue doughty. doughty is a more complete defenseman. karlsson like alfredson deserves to be on ottawa/seattle/quebec city.

I guess someone should rename the the thread to leafs hockey then, seems it is ok for the leaf fans to poke fun and stir it up on sens or habs fans but if someone does the same to leafs fans you are labelled a miserable hater, lol, priceless
Where have you been last couple of seasons? We have had to put up with Matt's incessant babbling for a while now.
I'm sure it's coincidental he is nowhere to be found that the turd's free fall has commenced

douchenne since the trade; 5gp, 0pts, -6
turris since the trade; 5gp, 5pts (2g/3a), +1
LMAO

i run stabil through her, disconnect the tank, dump the remaining fuel in wife's car and put the tank in the shed. next spring, i fill the tank with fresh fuel.
doesn't help you, but that's the beauty of portable tanks.
-
Pretty good night. Leafs beat the habs and the turds lose to the worst team in hockey.
I see that Douchenne trade is working out real well. He racked up another point today, too bad it was a negative. 5 games, 0 pts, -6. That's pretty Daigle'esque. LMAO
-
mobile theme please. i used that one whether i was on my phone or on PC before. the black and white ("default") is ok but the woody one is too much
-
we know you're a kid at heart Wayne.

Ottawa in the short term traded turris for Douchenne. All other pieces were not on active roster. On paper this makes them a better team if Douchenne lives up to the hype.

LOL
Warranty ended end of September. Go figure.
double check your warranty. if it's an emission component that is failing, some of them are covered past the power train warranty.
-
until you do this, you're just guessing. it may not be evap related at all. our beater corolla is throwing an intermittent catalytic code.. it'll come on then turn off after a few drive cycles. sticker's valid till dec 18 so i'm not worried about it.Buddy at work has a reader. I,ll be seeing whats up, with whats up Monday.
[insert ontario etest is Bull comments here]
donchya have warranty on it anyway or is it too old now?
-
it wont be price, it'll be coaching and or management.
-
Yup...I'd watch soccer before I'd watch Ottawa!!!
Ohhhh Ouch!!!

It also appears I need a new Map Chip - looks like Navionics has an all north America chip now, that has Georgian Bay. I think if I had been using that Chip, it would have covered the area I was in.
the areas in woods, arnolds bay, blackstone harbour etc are not charted on any chip. once you get out to capt allan straight or closer towards port rawson in the other direction is where the charted areas start.

Any modern diesel with the amount of emissions crap they've slapped on them in recent years will have issues. EGRs, SCR systems, DPF, the list goes on and on. Another reason to delete all that stuff, get a retune and never worry about it again.
believe me Bill I want to.. but I still have another 55k kms on the bumper to bumper and 155k kms on the power train warranties that i don't want to lose. really torn as to when this stuff should fall off the truck.

- I dont know if anyone mentioned sump pumps, but thats another thing you may want to power if you have one, especially since the power-loss event may have also been a heavy rain event.
sump is at the top of my list with food (fridge) second. a 1/3 hp pump draws 800 watts continuous and close to double that starting -- so something to keep in mind.
we're fortunate that we've a wood stove so heat is not a concern and our stove is gas so no issues cooking. if the failure's in winter, food can always go in coolers in the shed, too.
it'd be nice to have a standby setup like Lew has but the cost/benefit doesn't make sense given the frequency (or lack thereof) of power outages where we are.

yes it will be a better picture quality than cable. cable/satellite compress the signal. so even if the broadcaster only broadcasts at 720p, the signal will not be compressed over antenna. 1080p/720p depends on what the station is broadcasting. What do I expect to pay for the HD antenna? Is it true HD at 1080p? Can you get HBO on the antenna? I have been told no HBO, movie channels as well as most cable channels such as CNN, Nat Geo etc.
My wife is leaving if she looses HBO and her cable movie channels. I'm thinking I might get a base package then add on some cable channels and supplement the networks with the antenna, ABC,CBS, NBC, FOX, CBC and CTV. I need to get the calculator out.
Not able to stream here, not enough band width.
you will definately not get HBO. you would be limited to the networks. you're on the erie north shore correct? you will pick up whatever US networks are based out of buffalo and erie, pa. maybe cleveland? punch in your co-ordinates here. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=90
the cost will depend on how much power you need. you will likely want/need a decent roof/chimney mount.
as for streaming, i would look around at other options besides xplorenet. maybe talk to neighbours to see what they are doing. there may be a local company beaming wireless.

beauty sunset coming in from moon bay.
-
Put up an over the air antenna. You will get buffalo And hamilton from your location
Ditch the satellite
-

agree. i own WEED and APH, long term I'm still bullish on these two. now if I bought at the highs maybe i'd be pooping bricks but my average cost is still below current prices. i see a lot of consolidation in the sector in the next few weeks and maybe some sideways movement. i do believe we're close to or at the end of the sell-off for the time being and expect a bounce monday. let's not forget the entire market was beaten down this week, not just this sector.
