Really enjoyed reading that, thank's 'bunk!

Like everyone else I wish you the best and am sorry to hear of your plight. Keep us informed as to the final outcome.

Love to see reports like that! Seems to me the walleye slot system on Georgian Bay is reaping dividends.
Congrats on a great day!

I know that area like the back of my hand, but you just described almost every single lake in the immediate vicinity
.
If you can get a little more specific I can most likely help.

Nice slabs and even nicer 'ski!

solopaddler, I'll trade you a guided Bass trip for a guided steelhead trip. haha. I'm not kidding by the way.
Sounds good Steve

That's a deal we can definetely work on Mike, muskies open June 2nd and I'll be on the water most of the time from then, right thru till the season closure.
I've also got all the gear you'll need too.
Ditto!
(I love these kinds of "deals"
)

WTG Mike, another great day on the water for ya !!
Keep this up and you may actually start getting me interested in river fishin
Hey Lew, I'll trade you a guided steelhead trip (when the conditions are prime), for a musky trip
.
Seriously, I'd be happy to take you out if the opportunity presents itself....

Well, originally I had plans to fish for Pike on Georgian Bay this week. Unfortunately those plans fell through, so myself and 2 other friends decided to fish for steelhead. Personally, at this time of year I'm getting a little bored with steelhead fishing, as there's so many other great things to do once May rolls around. So this was my steelheading swansong 'till October rolls around......and a good one it was
.
It was a huge numbers day with easily 150 fish put on the bank between the 3 of us
. All the fish were dropbacks, but fully recovered and full of fight with most fish clearing the water 5-6 times.....
Obviously, the pic's are just a fraction of what we actually caught. Hot bait was whatever you happened to have on your hook
. Seriously, they were ravenous and hitting everything. Water temps. were still a reasonable 60 degrees, so the fish were all still in good shape when released. Definitely ended the steelhead season with a bang!
cheers, Mike

That's awesome!

I also like the Italian seasoned bread crumbs as well.
What's also really good is a 50/50 mix of Italian bread crumbs and grated Romano cheese (the kind in a can you sprinkle on pasta).
Dip the fish in milk like Harv mentioned, coat them in the mixture, then saute in 2/3 extra virgin olive oil, 1/3 salted butter.
Squeeze a bit of fresh lemon on before you eat, and let me tell ya, it's amazing!

What about the Honda CRV? My brother and a friend have them and love them. As for mileage, as far as i know it's good, my brother commutes to Toronto from Alcona.
Maureen
I bought a used CRV a little over 4 years ago, paying $10,500 for it.
In all that time with a huge amount of driving all I've done is change the oil regularly and replace the breaks a couple times.
It's by far the best vehicle I've ever owned, nothing else even comes close.

DEFINITELY avoid UPS, you will be stung with extra charges. USPS is by far the cheapest way to have stuff delivered.

I'd love to go and meet some of you guys, but I work 2-10pm today
.
Maybe next time....have a good one!

Depth is in metres, so it doesn't look bad there. No gamefish listed...that seems unusual. If I were you I'd give the MNR in Parry Sound a call and ask to speak to someone, preferably a biologist about the lake.
cheers
(OhioFisherman just posted this info before me, didn't mean to post it twice. BTW, can someone please explain to me how to post just the link to a page?

I like what Lew said.

Planes, trains and automobiles to get there.

That's an awesome idea!! If this thing takes off I'll definitely be contacting you! Can't think of a better idea than that for a winter show
-
I'm not surprised. For the last 10 years or so I've probably averaged 5-6 orders a year with them, and never once have they let me down.
Shipping is always fast, prices are good, selection is the best, and return policy is second to none.

Excellent, excellent report Bill! I used to fish Whitemans years ago, it's nice to see that it hasn't changed too much.
