  1. Rapala DT Fat 1. Big, fat and produce exciting strikes.
  2. Yea, I've called every time I saw something like that. I think native Americans can sell them but I doubt they do business with these supermarkets. I don't go to these supermarkets often so I can't really tell if the OMNR has actually visited them or not. I'm 99% sure they are wild caught game fish. The pike tend to be there in numbers no greater than 5 and the pan fish are in large numbers. The supermarkets are in Toronto and Markham region. I can confirm that selling them is illegal as that's what the OMNR officer told me. CBJ
  3. Hi all, I've been finding game fish for sale at certain Chinese supermarkets in the past few years. Species I saw are Northern Pike, Walleye, Crappie, Rockbass and Bluegills. I just saw a tank full of Rockbass last week and some were smaller than palm sized. Being a catch and release guy this naturally disgusted me. I called the OMNR every time I come across this but since these finds pops up time and time again I wonder if anyone else actually call and report. The kicker is, there's a sign on the tank that says "Wild Caught". CBJ
  4. I rented at Bewdley before. I don't remember exactly the name or the phone # as I lost their business card. The boats were the cleanest I've rented. I remember their logo is like a red stop sign with some numbers in it. Jon
  5. Nice fish !!! Not alot of people can resist the temptation of releasing their first big one, totally awesome job!!!
  6. I had some fun trips at Grenadier Pond. Where can I park my car if I want to fish for Smallies in Credit River?
  7. That is some quality fishing. I'm still trying to get my dad into fishing. Jon
  8. My close friends do alot of name calling when the fish aren't biting but its all in a fun manner. Same thing with Cudz though, had an incident with a missed net attempt ending up with a fish taking off without the hook and people get angry for a few minutes Jon
  9. Hello everyone, I've made some plans to fish Pigeon Lake for Muskies. It'll be a first for me, both being at Pigeon and fishing for Muskies specifically. My friends will be looking for Walleyes. I have heavy gear ready to go and plan to fish with large crankbaits. Can anyone help me with some hotspots for muskies and tips? I'll be renting a boat at either Pigeon Lake Resort or Sugar Bush Cottages unless there are other boat rentals close to hotspots if someone can tell me. Any help for a newbie will be great as I hope to bring home something ( in terms of Photos, won't be keeping any Muskies). I will be using Rapala Super Shad (fire tiger) and X-Rap jointed (bunker and hot head) Any help will be great. Thanks! Jon
  10. Great I just fixed it. Thanks everyone! Jon
