a friend of mine booked a cottage near sprucedale and was wondering if anyone has any information on the lake. Bartlett/rainy lake just north of huntsville. we are there for 5 days next week and have heard there are pike walleye and rainbow trout in the lake. to me it sounds like an odd combo of fish. any info will be greatly appreciated. thanks, Dan.

used to fish whitemans alot, way over fished anymore and removing the dam has pretty well changed everything. nothing like setting your hook thinking you have a nice brown hog on and then realizing the smallies have made their way up from the river

I am heading up to the south bay next weekend for a week of fishing with the guys, annual trip. I have the same problem as you except i have another 7 days to go.

we used 2x4 and duct tape them to the roof racks. its not pretty but it wont come apart.
