  1. Got a nice 8 pointer with my car Friday night just south of maynoth, In all the years ive been driveing at night up north first time this happened , came up over a hill and it was right there in middle of road ,I now know what deer caught in the headlights means , It didnt try to move just bang and than it was in the seat beside me .Nead to go car shopping today , amazeing what a 150 pound animal can do to your car at 100 klicks . lucky I came out with only a kick to the head , blood was everyware inside car some mine but mostly the poor deer , what a mess ..

    :w00t::w00t:

    i wont sleep tonight!

good thing those 8 points didnt impale your skull!

  2. 24/7, yeah, I have been using it quite a bit this season. Its a 3/4 oz. bass flipping jig with a yum money minnow on the back.Pesistance finally paid off. I like to use 55 # flourocarbon leaders for pike. I tie it on directly to 50 or 30 # power pro with a back to back uni knot. It seems to work well although I have been bitten off. The key is to inspect the leader and re-tie often.

Thanks everybody for the kind words.

    PURE GENIUS RIGHT THERE! :worthy:

thanks for the great tip man this is a must next year!

  3. hey msp nice pike .

    that last one .

is that a flipping jig rigged with a swim bait?!?!?

and what type of line are you using fluoro?

    sweet report dude.

the reason why im asking is that iv been catching pike while flipping and pitching for bass this year.

oversizing the lure could get me into some seriouse pike like yourself.

  4. I enjoyed ROB's company :P

next time,. we will go when the weeds are THICK and try to catch some of these >>

That pic was taken at the end of September ... note the weeds behind me..

    Splashhopper...

PS.. if ya wanna head up trout fishing... lets grab Chris, soon, by the scruff of the neck and MAKE him take us to his spots on his river ;)

    WHAO man theres a hog!!!

  5. Nicely done!! Looks like a great way to cap off your bass season. Great report, thanks for putting it up.

What about the muskies? Any love?

Not quite the love making between mss. musky and I

She found out a way to avoid 40 houres of tease with everything i had to give her.

she dumped me after hooking into a big branche that gave me hope.

she broke my heart...... until next year that is... or maybe.... a BIG maybe ..... this week-end!

  6. wow, i'll be your partner next Kev, i even bought my quebec license this year, i can be there in about 5 hours! good day for sure congrats on a few more beauties.

anyone driving 5 houres to fish with me deserve a place in my boat! :worthy:

its as simple as a PM and a plan that works. :Gonefishing:

and we are on the lake catching these brutes.

Now with all these brutes and spending multiple houres trolling for musky my wrist is broken! :stretcher:

but how can i complain!:jerry:

  7. Catching them in July and August does far more harm than catching them now. Smallies are very prevalent everywhere and even where fishing is allowed all year, there is no shortage of them.

and dont see any probleme fishing for small mouth in a small mouth INFESTED erea!?!?!? :dunno::dunno:

If your so concern about fishing dont fish at all.

you enjoi fishing i enjoi fishing.
