Last Wednesday we used $330 worth of fuel on our offshore trip.
25 foot center console T-top with a pair of Optimax 150's.
I know I couldn't afford to own that boat and go running around the Gulf of Mexico chasing down fish.
imagine the lodge i work at we run 2x 300hp yamahas..from parking lot to lodge and back last summer was 350$ trip..wonder what it will cost this summer

i use to use slidekicks for my 154 inch track with 2.5 inch paddles and after 1 season i find the wire isnt as effective and have as much "down pressure" ive gone back to normal ice scratchers
-
went out west last year to sled the rocky mountains and HOLY CRAP!!! i can relate to this guy just on a smaller scale, made it 3/4 of the way up a steep chute and it was iced at the top, track started spinning and down i go with the sled..cost me new handlebars, steering post and side panels...i was lucky further down wast soft waist deep snow so the damage was minimal

Bought a klim parka last year. It's a great piece of equipment. Did try their glove, but couldn't talk myself into the price.
I need to solve this problem. So I'll try the klim.
Thank you every one for the help.
Paul.
im sure it will do the job, i too have overly sweaty hands and the klim powercross glove solved my problem and the fusion glove for them colder days or trail rides
-
It's got to be very cold or raining for me to wear a heavy glove.
Eg; 100g of thinsulate or higher.
So what I need is a glove on low setting that will not make my hands sweat.
I have tried alot of different types. But all $50's or less.
I would like too find a pair to solve this problem at no expense.
i ride offtrail snowmobiles and we tend to get sweat alot especially up in the mountains(rockys) so
i use klim gloves, been using them for 5 years and they are awesome..all goretex and leather, keeps
your hands nice and dry and non sweaty. now i have a few different pairs but the best thinnest ones
that keep me warm so far are the powercross glove! heres a link

P:S all i ride with is klim goretex gear and im always dry and happy even though it costs an arm and leg lolll

well weve had 2 cougar attacks out here in quebec eastern townships and beauce area this year,,,the article really doesent suprise me, but i mean hey they were here before us, maybe it will help keep the coyote and deep population in check!
-
Yeah, not happening on Great Bear. My buddy Dave has trolled deadbaits bigger than 6lbs up there LOL!
yeah we use musky baits up there and 80lb ppro...definately not comparable to quebec lol
-
on our northern tea stained lakes here in quebec i use fireline crystal , the only time i use a flouro leader is fishing clear laker or speck lakes or on great bear lake you can see bottom in 40feet so i use a 30lb leader of fluro...it definately does make a difference imo
-
you are not really making this easy for me to keep my fishing stuff stored till spring!!! :thumbsup_anim:
-
hey sorry this add is in french but maybe you can give them a call, they are north of montreal and make floaters
-
contact your local marina as we had also made a smaller barde with pontoon floaters and the dealer had ordered the floaters for us.. il try and find pics of this barge
-
we built a barge this year at the outfitter i work for...we bought 2 x25 foot long houseboat floaters(used and payed per pound what the metal is worth) and started from there..we welded a frame to the floaters and the deck is made with 2x6s...in all the platform is 25feet long and 15 feet wide, does us good now in the spring we can transport our 2500liter gas tanks(2) propane, tractor etc and as a motor we use a 25 hp 2 stroke johnson and she does a constant 4mph
-
ya man i ordered a snorkel kit for my grizz after trying to cross a 5 ft deep river and stalled her hahahaa
-
my grizzly did the same last weekend..no starting noise or anything, recharged the battery still wouldent work. jumped the solenoid and it worked
-
