IMHO you can't beat a Lab and the chocolate Lab is the best looking in the bunch but I'm a bit bias.
Got to admit the chocolate is a fine animal. Yours looks gorgeous. We have a chocolate at the farm. Intelligent, very well mannered, a bit of a sneak, and a 120lbs of solid ham. Pops feeds Remy far too much from the table.

There was a lot of XZone product at the show and swap yesterday, fetching a good price too.
There will probably be some available at the North Toronto swap and sale.

Blue lk please pass me the asperagus!!!
Mmmmm nice pics!!!!
Only 2 months til asparagus season.

The only products I have interest in are their store fixtures.
Target's move into an oversaturated retail market was, and remains, a big mistake. The finance wizards were giving the warnings before the Christmas rush. Future Shop was also inevitable. There will be a few more retail chains that fall before the retail landscape balances out.

Back to back losses and Boston win puts Ottawa in a bad spot, and Florida still nipping at their heels.
They need to win all of the last 7 games to hope to make the playoffs.

No cooking today. Strictly leftover letdown day accumulated over the past 3 days. Gotta clear the fridge before we start into all the Easter goodies come Friday.

I understand completely the need to generate income to support the site. Most sites have the same problem. What I was told by some members yesterday, is they won't be taking down their adblocker. If they aren't viewing, the site still looses revenue revenue stream.

I love using bucktail jigs for walleye, bass, and crappie. I tie them from 1/32 to 1/2 oz.

Their not meant to be stored sideways.
Store upright and problem goes away.
Absolutely correct.

Although this story is over a year old,I'm happy to see it brought up again.
The arrogance of this man sickens me.A non-resident who become a "famous expert" while abusing Canadian resources.
Imo he shouldn't be allowed to be in our country.
speaks volumes.
For that to happen, the OMNR has to make a request to the responsible federal agencies and get them involved. Not much grounds to keep him out of Canada until you have a criminal conviction or until he pisses off the Feds.

No better or closer friend than your dog. Who greets me at the door? Showers me with hugs and kisses? Always ready to stand by my side? Who never talks back or argues? Happy to play. Never hogs the blankets?
The answer is not my wife or kids. I still miss Lucky and Peanut, but Casey makes up for the 2 of them in spades.

Looks like the Leafs still have some pride after all in the third.

Now that I have suitably recovered. What a great day. The place was packed all morning. Lots of vendors.
Was a great day to see a lot of OFCer's wandering about. Had to have spoken to 30-40 members over the course of the day. I again apologize for not having salsa available but the new, larger, family has cleaned out my supply.

l(like bake it on parchment paper so it dont stick to the dish lol)
Great tip. That will work great with the molasses quick bread.

Would they have the furry part on them at this time of the year? Mine don't.
They are partially open already. We force them to be fully open for auction.

I get the sense they are trying to do the right thing but are walking on eggshells.

"Kowalski refused to identify the suspect and didn't provide an explanation"
That one paragraph seems very odd to me. We'll see if anything meaningful actually happens.
The politics of diffusing tensions within some very angry communities.

That sounds like a great bread recipe. Not that I knead to add another to my arsenal. I do like bannock. So simple to make and versatile. Especially when camping or on a fishing trip

Is that a real thing?
The auction or "clock" is a Dutch system that has been in place in Toronto around 50 years. It brings flowers direct to the wholesale buyers without the need to have 2-300 small scale growers going from shop to shop selling their crops
At one time large enough to be sole North American distributor of indoor potted flowers to Lowes USA, and one of a handful of nationwide distributors to Home Depot USA. That was back when our dollar was below $.70 US

Currently in the new flyer for TSC for $199.99.

That was the one the son bought last year on sale at TSC for $150. I like the fact you can use either propane or charcoal for your heat source. I like the propane when doing fish, chicken or jerky. Charcoal is my preference when cooking thick, heavier slabs of red meat.

Just curious Bruce. What do you do with the pussy willows? And next week crappie fishing? Will you need an auger...lol
The pussy willow stems go to the flower auction.
As for crappie. A couple of my early spots are already almost clear of ice.

Well I'm sitting here in the house getting caught up in the kitchen. Tonight's supper will be pork chops marinated in apple juice, cardamom and a blend of poultry seasonings.
While that marinates I'll make me another batch of fish coating.
After that we'll do the prep work for tomorrow's supper, as I'll be peddling my wares at the Ancaster fishing sale tomorrow. The dish requested by the clan is a crockpot cabbage roll casserole. All the goodness of a cabbage roll without all the fiddling around. Just layer it like a lasagna and cook for 6 hours.

Here I sit in Thorold watching the snow fall. Apparently winter is not done with us yet. Good thing we finished harvesting the last of the pussy willows back at the beginning of the week. Now we can focus on the seedlings on our nice warm grow benches and get the grow house all sealed up.
Next week I hunt for crappie.
