Sounds like a big waste of money to me...taxpayer money.
In 25 years we are going to have a whole bunch of broken down windmills and no electricity
Atleast we'd know where the money was wasted... Most tax money is unaccounted for.
In 25 years we could use them as look-out towers for when the americans come for our fresh water!

I would have kept it..

I've used cod liver oil for steelhead with good success, just dip a roe bag in and drift. Somedays it works great other days nothing, it's like anise oil on roe bags somedays deadly other days not.
so would it be safe to say that if you dident use either, some days would be good with plain roe and others nothing?..
-
Good idea on testing a few and setting them aside from the others.
As for the WD-40, Is it really mostly fish oil??
The other perk of the Cod Liver Oil is (I'm assuming) it's environmentally friendly.
I Did some work for a real old fella.... and he told me that they used WD-40 to keep the bombs from rusting during the war.

Thanks for all the replys guys, lots of things to consider i guess.
I mainly want a pair for hiking around with , some deer.. bird watching... when the opportunity arises.
Canadian tire had some Bushmaster bino's on sale a few weeks back that i purchased for 9 bucks...they work alright for having in the truck, but i would definitely want a much better pair.
The pawn shop idea sounds like something to check out.
Why would you need bino's to be water proof? for condensation?
-
I want to purchase some but i know very little about them?
Whats the most important things to look for when buying a pair?
Any help is appreciated..
Into the carp again, Same old trip it was back then.
