  1. I've used Stub Hub for Sabres tickets before. I chose to get tickets that I could download and print right away. I was leery but it worked like a charm and the price was MUCH better than what you would pay at the ACC.

I've used stub hub many times for sporting events and concerts. A little more expensive but Just click and print and its all done. No problems.

I haven't bought tickets in approx 3 yrs..... I don't recall them having a print option at the time. BUT regardless.... if that is an option, that does make things handy.

  2. Kijiji = no fees.... but a risk of the seller stiffing you ( bought approx $3000 worth of tickets on kijiji and never have been screwed ) So I guess you can decide what amount of "risk" is TOO HIGH

Stub Hub = face value + handling fees ,etc.

I dont know what its like in Buffalo, but the stub hub office in Detroit is REEEEDONKULOUS !!!!! no parking, main street, VERY SMALL.... so its a HUGE inconvenience.

I hate buying tickets from ticket master or stub hub simply for the amount of $$ you pay in holding fees, selling fees, taxes, etc.

Kijiji is easy and your dealing with people 95% of the time.... I noticed in the bigger cities there are "professional scalpers" I tend to avoid them .

  3. Just called insurance company and my girl told me I could insure it for $70/yr ????

I asked her to be ABSOLUTLEY sure because she just kept asking me... " its an atv right ?" I said yes, but a THREE WHEELER.... she wasnt 100% sure so I told her to GET 100% sure and let me know.

Currently, waiting for a phone back

  4. I have a chance to pick up a big red trike.

I have a couple questions regarding licencing these machines... I know they have been out-lawed ... And i thought you couldn't licence one with out being grandfathered into the machine ?? ( dad passes away and leaves you the machine... type of deal )

Whats the rules or what do I need to know if Im going to buy this thing ?

Its a 250 Honda big red Trike. ..... whats the value ??? average condition for the year I guess.

I want to get it for ice fishing possibly.

    Thanks for any help

  5. Looking to get out on the ice this weekend , my dad is here from Vancouver and has till Monday afternoon .

Do you think Virginia beach would be a good bet ? Heading out Friday afternoon to fish Saturday and Sunday and we would be driving 4 hours . I don't want to make the trip if the ice isn't safe . Weather reports look good for the next few days ... Thanks for any advice

  6. There's a million and one places to catch musky besides lake st clair. People aren't stupid enough to report southern ontario musky spots on internet forums except LSC cuz it's the country's community musky hole now. They exist in all the great lakes.... Bigger and deeper the lake the bigger the fish.... Think about it. Maybe you're closer than you think!

So the people making LSC musky reports are... Stupid ??? hmm.... anyways.... LSC is quickly becoming as popular as it is for musky because the size and numbers are exploding. I have caught/seen being caught, some of the biggest/fattest musky ever from a small bay off Lake Erie. I wont give up the name... as to not be "stupid".

Like everyone has said.... your closer then you think so a nice Musky. Jump in the mazda 3 and head to scugog, rice, niagra... only a couple hours drive.

  7. Hey everyone

The time is fast approaching ..... Im wondering how I should store my batteries ? take them out of the boat ? leave them in w/ the onboard charger going ? take them out and put a trickle charger on for the winter ?

    Whats everyone else's routine ?

  8. Get the black nickel finish instead of the red. I bought the red ones first time around. The hooks will be buried in the crawler anyways, and the red plating peels off after a few fish.

Go with 14lb fluoro and take your chances, just IMO.

Yea, thanks for reminding me about the red hooks. I bought some red hooks to try when drop shotting and after a few fish the red starts to wear off anyhow.

14lb fluoro would be "ok" but I think I will tie a few stronger ones just to see how they work. Also, I orders some #6 hooks to try some smaller, lighter harnesses for perch on LSC..... I caught a couple of the biggest perch I have ever caught dragging harnesses out on the main lake.

  9. im about to place my order today.

I think its going to be a great way to pass the winter months by !

Im going with the basics though, brass /silver/ chartreuse, white, red, #3/4 blades, Metal clevises, #02/04 gamagatsu hooks

I still need to purchase line and my swivels. Im going to go with SPRO swivels and Im thinking a heavier mono line for all the musky in LSC.

  10. I have the original version, don't know what else I could want out of it, all basic functions, good enough for me... Besides that the lady in future shop couldn't point out a real significant difference between the HERO & HERO 2 when I was making my purchase, so I saved 100 bucks

I work in sales and recently I thought it would be fun to work at future shop in the sale department part time for extra cash.

I said this because the "sales" staff they have working there are very very weak.... this proves my point

    -Higher frame rate

    -Higher resolution

    -wider angle lense

    -Longer battery life (I think)

These are just the "off the top of my head" differences I can think of. They may not be accurate, but Im 90% sure those are SOME

Hero3 is officially on the Xmas list.... having a cousin that works at Future Shop comes in handy... Hero2 @ $349.99..... his price... $249 :thumbsup_anim: :thumbsup_anim:

  11. Hey everyone

October 12-13-14 weekend we are throwing a bachelor party for friend. I'm the best man.... we were going to pull the trigger and head to Chicago for the weekend. but we can't seem to gather everyone up due to $$$.

So it turns out Oktoberfest is that weekend and we were thinking that might be a good time . Head down for the day and then hit up some bars at night haha

Would it be the type of event for a bachelor party ?

We don't want to do the typical drunk fest/strip bar night....
