Howdy all Against my better judgment I might be camping up in in T.Bay @ Sleeping Giant prov.park. Has anybody ever been there, and maybe have any fishing advice. We'll likely be renting a small tin tiller while we're there. or maybe casting from shore, unsure until we get there.... Any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers Sully

Some guy caught the record brown throwing hardware from shore. out in oshawa or east somewhere.... he didn't have a ticket and would have won.... was a few years ago though!

yup, just boatless for the timebeing. We are looking at trailers too @ Chemong. Once we buy the trailer (or something) we'll be getting a boat not long after.... not to interested in shore fishing as buying a boat will be the next priority once we get or score a place to call home for the weekends..... just want to make sure we have some half decent fishing ahead of us without having to drive to another lake for some fish fun.... Howdy all In our quest to find some property, we've been looking to Chemong lake anybody have anything to say or some sage like advice about fishing Chemong, is it good or bad. Don't need any honeyhole advice, just helpful hints on if we should look elsewhere for a good fishing lake or is Chemong pretty good for fishing. I once had a problem with one of my dirt bikes running crappy, poured some Seafoam into it and it cleared right up. Now every year I run some thru each of the motors as preventative maintenance before I put 'em away for the winter.... amazing stuff....

Bassman11 You know.... I have a huge tackle box and in it I keep 3 spare reels so typically my tackle box is worth alot of coin if I were to loose it. Maybe contact your insurance people and see what they say...who knows they might be sympathetic Depends on your deductable though... just a thought good luck

Thanks Beans Ya, the park looks nice... and it should with the seasonal fee's they charge.... I assume they charge extra for the air con. because its a power drain as for the regular toilet, who knows... hope the fishing is good... Just want to get a feel for what others think the park is like before we dive i n.... Thanks for the info

Howdy all Have not visited here in a long time(got into dirtbiking), my membership even changed... no matter. I was wondering if anyone has a trailer @ Goreskis' landing and maybe could offer some input as to how much they like the park, or dislike.... Also, if we do indeed buy said trailer, whats the fishing been like on Scugog, I have not fished it in about 15 years.... Any info would be greatly appreciated.... Cheers Sully
