Thanks, boys!! I was out on Scumbog yesterday. Had trouble finding good water. I'd either be in wide-open desert, or in the middle of this crap. I fluked out and found one nice pocket - but it was FULL of tiny fish. I couldn't find any decent fish. They were all tiny. Whatever....now I need a few spots NOT to go -- PROCESS OF ELIMINATION!!! Skeets - what are you mainly pullin' up - perchies? Will - how often do you run that thing?

Humpy male I lost at the net, then again out of the net – nearly scooped him after he came off and was swimmin’ away. Beautiful! Re-enacting the breading that would be this little guys fate Pretty purple poisson! Close one! This old fella was bustin the ice off the pool he wanted to fish and found this one frozen into the anchor ice! He spent a lil TLC on it. Yup. Creek’s a lil durrty today. (I still managed to scrape up a couple of fish this day ;] ) The bag-poppers are pretty. This big girl was loose – a fall spawner, I guess! Almost pan-worthy. One of several fish I encountered this day that was ASLEEP. Water was low and clear. I almost could have hand-landed this fish. There were others I got my hand right around their caudal peduncles before they woke up. Fishing was not great, this day. Lol

Honestly, I never feel like I take enough pix when I'm fishin'. Fishing usually wins out. Really, we only had one cigareye - the rest of the pickereyes were just below the slot or right in there. We caught quite a few walters - probably 20-30. I think we were 53 'countable' fish on the trip - a few walleye under 10", few more perch under 8", and the rockbass didn't get counted. Poor shunned little species. Part 8 will be a fishporn montage of the trouts from this past fall/winter.
