Ribs are cooked using indirect heat with the aid of a plate setter. Grill temp is set just under 200 with soaked maple chips applied to the lump charcoal.

That is exactly the point. If you have to count on the general manager to engage in order to recover from service failure, you will never get to the point that you want (or need) to be.

The root cause of the service failure lies deep in their organizational norms.

In all likelihood, you will continue to see them address the symptom.....and not the cause of the service failure.

My $0.02

IMHO, it was an example of recovering from a service failure - which is a very good thing as many companies are not able to recover from such a service failure.

Fact of the matter is that there was a service failure in the first place, so I don't think that you were too quick to judge.

The real test is whether BPS is able to successfully diagnose the cause of the service failure and implement the proper processes to avoid this type of service failure in the future. Being in the business of professional services, I can guarantee you that this is easier said than done.

I would start with 14-17lb mono until you get the hang of it, and then move to 65 or 80lb pp.

Hi Pidge, I just did one morning with Captain Tim Frey (http://www.bassfishingfl.com).

He is a nice guy and knows the area very well. One thing to watch is that most of guides like to use live bait, which is very productive - but not my favourite type of fishing.

If you want to use artificials exclusively - be sure to specify that up front so that the guide doesn't get (and bill you for) shiners.

Hit the water with a local guide on the Butler Chain of Lakes outside of Orlando. Unbelievable money in that area as seen here by Shaq's Mommas house......rumour has it property taxes are the better part of $180K.

The fishing was a bit slow, with only a half dozen bass. This little lady come off of Barry Larkin's dock.

The guide was running a 200 hp E-tec on a 20' Stratos and holy cow did that little baby fly. Definately fun!
